The owners are exceptionally friendly! The room has a nice balcony view, a TV, internet, and a very good bathroom. The bed is comfy.
The road to the location is a bit narrow, but otherwise pretty short, so you won't be on the lookout for ongoing cars for too long. Plenty of parking space.
The area around the cabin is gorgeous. There's a stream going through the valley, they have their own fishing pond. There's a plastic slide for small kids, along with a few other things. We also played with two cute dogs that they keep around!
There's a road network connecting scattered mountain houses with the nearby town of Nova Varoš, and some of those end not too far from the cabin. These roads don't see a lot of vehicles, so they're ideal for hiking and exploring the mountain and the forest!
Breakfast and dinner are paid for separately, but you don't have to take them. I'd highly recommend that you do, though. The food is awesome, and they cook it right there and then in their kitchen, shortly before each meal's agreed-upon time. You can ask them for a specific meal. As mentioned, they have their own fishing pond, so the fish is extra fresh and tasty! They also have a range of high-quality home-made rakijas from around the area. :)
The location itself is very close to Nova Varoš and the Zlatar mountain proper, as well as a number of other interesting places to visit. It's tucked away, but not isolated. Very quiet both night and day.
All in all, if you like relaxed, homely, family-run places, it can't get much better than this. Plus, it's not expensive at all. A very warm thank you to the hosts; we'll definitely be coming back!
The TV didn't work outside the box. The internet cable from the router wasn't plugged into the TV. The TV itself wasn't even configured to use cabled internet. This wasn't really that hard to fix, but it may have been a pain point for someone else.
Not enough outlets in the room. I started bringing along an extension cord with me some time ago, because so many places get this wrong. You can't have two outlets besides the bed, with both used by lamps! At least give me an extension cord or splitter.
One of the sliding doors (the left one) in the shower cabin wasn't properly secured onto the bottom rail. When I was stepping out of the cabin, the door got completely loose, but I attached it back onto the top rail. This could have ended pretty badly...

Amazing location close to the main road, but down in a quiet valley. The building and the spacious rooms are seemingly newly remodelled.
The staff literally does not speak a word in any another language than Serbian. The room was not 100% clean, but ok.

The property is like 4* hotel.
It is surrounded by nature and extremely quiet. You can hear only water from the nearby creek.
You need a car like in the whole area if you want to see anything. The nearby town is only 6km away.
