We received a very warm welcome. Pre-visit communication was excellent, letting us know times for dinner and would we like a table reservation.
All the staff were excellent and very friendly. Serena is an absolute tour-de-force! So enthusiastic, she immediately made us feel right at home and nothing would be too much trouble.

We were greeted by friendly faces who welcomed us to the Inn. This continued throughout our stay and everyone could not do enough for us.
We ate twice in the resteraunt and could not find fault with the food. It was a pleasure to eat.
The room was clean and there was always hot water for the shower.

Lovely pub with rooms, ideal for a short break or stopover to break a long journey. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Room comfortable and good value for money. Nice atmosphere in the pub and restaurant was good.
Breakfast is only continental style which was not a problem for us but might not suit everyone.

Good sized room, nice decor and very clean.
It was very disappointing that although the hotel states breakfast is included in the price, all that was provided was a small amount of sliced bread to toast, some yogurts, cereals and a few pieces of fruit. We also had tea & coffee, but there was no cooked breakfast on offer at all, not even scrambled eggs. We paid £100 per room so would certainly expect a more substantial breakfast.
Also my friend & I were the only people in the hotel all night, no staff members at all. Not really sure how safe that is, given it’s in a really quiet area & it meant I had a really poor nights sleep.
