Receptionist/ hotel manager Kristina truly exemplifies outstanding hospitality. From the moment I arrived until my departure, she demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to guest satisfaction. As the season's first arrival, I could have expected a less-than-perfect experience given the hostel's ongoing preparations. Instead, Kristina went above and beyond; quite literally going the extra mile to ensure my stay was nothing short of magical. Her infectious energy, warm smile, and tireless work ethic were evident from early morning until late evening. She was consistently present, proactive, and genuinely attentive to every detail. Kristina is truly an invaluable asset to this hostel, and her dedication deserves special recognition. The hostel itself is a delightful addition to an already exceptional location. A charming resident dog named Bella adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The bar area offers a particular highlight: while enjoying a drink, guests can gaze across the sloping terrain toward the Adriatic Sea beyond. The vista is remarkable perfect for spotting dolphins, observing boat traffic, and witnessing stunning sunsets. The surrounding area is well-served with restaurants and bars, and the airport is conveniently located just 15 minutes away by car. The nearby city proved equally enchanting. I ventured out on a dolphin-watching excursion and discovered several remarkable sites: a beautifully preserved Roman arena, the imposing Golden Gate of Hercules, and a charming market square centered around an ancient temple. For dinner, I dined at Salon, an atmospheric restaurant directly opposite the temple, which has been operating since 1870; a fitting complement to the area's rich history. This is an ideal destination for a 3–5 day coastal retreat.
