Une ferme pleine de charme, sublimée par l'accueil chaleureux de son propriétaire. Idéalement située à la campagne, au milieu des paons, des poules et des animaux domestiques, à proximité immédiate du site archéolgique Volubilis. Nous avons eu le plaisir de déguster un dîner absolument succulent, gourmand, préparé avec passion et raffinement par notre hôte. Une très belle rencontre et une adresse à découvrir absolument!

Truly one of our best stays in Morocco. The owner and his brother are amazing people. Great conversation, delicious food and warm hospitality. Really recommend staying at this farm house. We will definitely go back again.

Tout était absolument parfait. Je recommande vivement ce lieu, nous avons été très bien accueillis par Azzedine qui est aussi un fin cuisiner, le repas était un délice! La ferme est à 10min à pied du site de Volubilis ce qui facilite la visite.

Rien à dire

Ferme Walila is an old farmhouse once owned by a French minister and set in rural surroundings complete with chickens, cats and a plenitude of peacocks. The room was comfortable and quirkily furnished.and there was a table and chairs for eating outside. Delightful Khadja’s brother is a chef, who used to work in Holland before returning to Meknes, and dinner in the evenings was extremely good. A huge asset is that it is situated within walking distance of the Roman ruins of Volubilis - a must visit site. Arriving there at 9.00 in the morning, we almost had the whole place to ourselves… leaving about three hours later, we found a mass of tour buses arriving, presumably from Fes. This also gives you time for a visit to nearby Moulay Idriss in the afternoon.

There may have been wifi, but it wasn’t evident. And it would be good to have a sign up on the road as it wasn’t obvious. (Coming from the Moulay Idriss direction, if you get to the lower entrance to Volubilis, you have passed it.)
