Rude and slightly scary owner

Location

The owner yelled at us for leaving the air con on while we were out, which was a mistake. After apologising and telling him it wouldn’t happen again, he wouldn’t leave the room, and continued to go on and on about it, even saying “My house, my rules. My country, my rules”. While he did this, he stood over me (a 27 year old female), and blocked my exit to the door. He made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable and he reminded us several times that he had spare keys to the apartment and would be regularly coming in during our stay to check the aircon. He said he would confiscate the remote if it was on again while we were out.

It’s very centrally located! Port is 2 min away and all the good bars and restaurants are around it. It’s good for a one night visit!

It’s very basic and perfect for people who just want to spend a night here. Or don’t want to spend much on stay. It has 3 beds, one toilet and a small kitchenette.

Perfect host and flat

The location is so perfect as tourists. It is near bars, ports and shops. Denis is so welcoming and friendly. He gave us a lot of tips to spend our holidays on. I recommend him. Thanks for having us.

Great stay in the centre of town!

This was a fun spot, right in town! so great if you’re keen to get involved in the night life. great coffee shop just outside.

Beautiful small apartment with comfortable single Beds and A/C that works well. Black out shades to keep sun lit in the morning.

This apartment sits directly over a very loud club. It will be virtually impossible for anyone to fall asleep before 1am when the crowds were cleared and the club closed down. It sounded like we were in the club from our beds. This might not be an issue for those that plan to stay out until 1am. The owner here, apparently, is used to younger kids coming for the party scene and trashing the place. He came to our door at 11am “to check on the room”. We said we wouldn’t let him in. Again, he came to the apartment door (shirtless) at 9am, knocked, and spoke through the door that “checkout is at 10am” despite the listing saying 11am checkout. I understand why he is that way (being used to the party crews that likely come through), but it was a bit ofputting.

Nice room very central.

Very Good room in the middle of Hvar. Not to expensive and everything was in order. Very helpful host that told us about where to go and where to avoid. Also let us stack our bags in the hallway on the Day of leaving.

A Little loud from the street, so if you are very sensitive towards that I would not recommend. Was No problem for us though.

Disappointing experience, Hvar town is very busy and not particularly reasonable. Stari grad is love

Actual location was good but flat was above the jazz bar with banging music and shouting till 1pm every night. Left a day early and went to the lovely Stari Grad

Unable to attempt to sleep till after one. Only provided with one sheet and one small towel for 3 beds, until we asked for more. Owner likes his drink and attempted to open our door to the main room/bedroom at 1pm, before quietly knocking! Bizarre. Thankfully I had locked the door! No idea what that was about.

Great value for money

Superb location, right next to the harbor and in the centre. Many lovely restaurants nearby. The host was very friendly, regularly checking in if we need anything. The place is great value for money. We stayed here with 3 friends.

A localização é ótima, tudo muito limpinho, nos receberam super bem, foram super atenciosos e quando viram que fomos cozinhar no apartamento compraram uma frigideira novinha para usarmos. foram uns queridos. A hospedagem é bem melhor que nas fotos aqui do booking, por isso tirei umas fotinhos também :)

realmente tem bastante barulho como vi nos outros comentários, mas acredito que não tenha como evitar isso no centro de hvar, a localização é excelente. Para mim foi tudo muito bom, principalmente pelo custo benefício. O colchão era bem mole, eu prefiro um pouco mais durinho, mas isso é algo pessoal. foi tudo incrível.

La ubicación es perfecta y la distribución es muy buena para pasar 1-2 noches en grupo en Hvar.

El menaje de la cocina es escaso, hay que saber que los propietarios viven arriba y se escucha todo. Si vas buscando privacidad... mejor otro alojamiento.

Mooie locatie, prima voor 1 of 2 nachten,

Geweldige locatie! Echt in een leuk steegje, midden in de oude stad en in een prachtig oud pand. Het was opvallend stil 's nachts.

Het is allemaal een beetje rommelig. Alles is er, het is wel schoon, maar het is niet zo sfeervol. Ook heeft 1 raam geen gordijnen of luiken, dus vroeg licht!

La posizione dell'appartamento è ottima, considerando che la maggior parte degli alloggi a questo prezzo a Hvar si trova a un dislivello notevole rispetto al centro. La stanza è carina e c'è anche un piccolo angolo cottura.

Il bagno forse sarebbe un po' da ristrutturare e manca qualcosa per oscurare il sole in una delle tre finestre della stanza.

Me encantó

No puede haber una ubicación mejor en toda la isla. Está junto al al puerto, a todos los restaurantes, bares, y tiendas. El anfitrión es muy agradable y te explica muy bien todo lo que necesites. Todo estaba muy limpio. Las fotos no le hacen justicia al apartamento. Está mucho mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos. Las camas son individuales, por lo que es ideal para viajar con amigos.

Las toallas de ducha podrían ser más grandes, y eché de menos tener sábana de arriba.
