Wonderful 3 night stay in gorgeous historical town

The house was nice and spacious with three good sized bedrooms and a lovely open plan design perfect for us as a family of 4. There was a smart box on tv with Netflix and Amazon which helps to keep the kids quiet as well. A notable highlight of this property is the location. Situated right in the heart of the beautiful town of Troyes, everything is within easy walking distance whilst also being a quiet street so little noise or disruption. Parking is available on the street at a reasonable charge although 24hr free parking is available just 5-10 mins walk away.

There was a heatwave when we visited Troyes and the apartment was very warm right through the evening which made it a little uncomfortable but the host did provide fans in all bedrooms which helped. The apartment is on 2nd floor accessed via old narrow staircase. It was fine for us but would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues.

Good value for the money and good location.

Good and quiet location. The apartment is spacious and you have there everything you need for a short stay.

The picture of the washing machine is a bit misleading - we haven't found it anywhere in the accessible areas of the apartment, it was actually in a locked room. We were provided with 3 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people for 3 nights and we run out of soap after only one evening. We received only 1 keys for 6 people, which was incredibly inconvenient when you don't want to go everywhere together - leaving the keys in the locker in front of the doors is not really useful option as you cannot for example lock yourself in and go sleep if all people aren't in the apartment (there is not a knob but a handle from outside).

Authentic Troyes with modern facilities

Huge apartment at the heart of Troyes old town, historic feeling, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, wide bathroom. Cosy hammock which I really enjoyed. Was allowed to use the washing machine for my loundry.

The information of wifi access was lost and it took 24 hours to solve this situation. The heaters in the main rooms did not come to work even though the staff representative came to help. Bathroom heaters worked well. Access to the apartment was a bit tricky, however, the owner explained it before arrival so I managed to get in.

Amazing, bright, airy space. Even with full occupancy (sleeps 6) it wouldn't be a cramped space.

Nothing really!!!! A couple of the mugs were damaged and the sofa wasn't very comfortable but in the great scheme of things it didn't really have any bad points.

Free parking is a bit far, but then you are in the very center of the historic city

LockBoxes can be tricky to operate but then you can get in at any time of the day or the night, that prooved convenient. Very quiet yet in the middle of the city.

Could use an aircond (with a solar panel of course) for being under the roof in hot summer.

There eas no air conditioning - a few fans but it was very warm. It would have been good to have had more towels- a bath mat also. And no tea towel. All small stuff really

Central yet quiet stylish spacious apartment

Great location, spacious well equipped stylish and quiet apartment-we particularly enjoyed the indoor hammock! Would definitely recommend and return. We parked in free car park (10-15 min walk away) without issue.

These are small points in comparison to the good ones as we would definitely return. It was very hot when we stayed there and the abundance of pigeons on the rooves meant we didnt feel comfortable opening windows. Thought there was a washing machine but we couldn't find it if there was! Up two flights of stairs so wont suit all and you really have to push front door to get in!

We had a great stay with 5 girls!

We liked everything about it! The space, the location, the friendly and flexible hosts… We rented the place with a group of 5 girls and were very happy with the 3 sinks and mirrors too!

Great location some attention to detail let the property down.

Superb location.

Entrance foyer leading to the apartment really let the apartment down. Smashed door lockers, broken bed at the bottom of the stairs very unkept and unwelcoming. Some areas in need of some attention. Electrical faults to the light switch in the main bedroom. Some furniture including barstools loose and chair arm rickety and unstable. Missing some general utensils like a can opener. Skirting boards in general area,shower toilet area area not 100% clean. Plastic mattress protectors not comfortable to sleep on.

Il faisait froid dans la pièce principale (salon/cuisine) pas possible d’y rester, d’en profiter le premier soir. La salle de bains était également froide. Juste les chambres étaient à température agréable.

Pression de l’eau dans la douche très faible Pièce principale difficile à chauffer. Pas de soucis pour les chambres. Appartement peu éclairé. Manque de miroir Le personnel de ménage qui arrive à 9h58 faire le ménage. On était sur le point de partir, les valises étaient dans l’entrée. Mais c’est pas agréable.

malgré un appartement très bien placé et spacieux, nous avons pu nous reposer et profiter pleinement de notre séjour

Environnement très bien, très bien desservi en commerces, l'appartement très spacieux, chaque chambre avait sa propre décoration ainsi que les différentes couleurs de serviettes... j'ai apprécié.

Une sonorisation inexistante, difficile à dormir, simple coussin dans le lit, ce ne sont même pas des oreillers. Très mal aux cervicales. La pièce principale est très mal éclairée. Trop d'ampoules à remplacer. au niveau culinaire, une poêle, une marmite très usagée à remplacer et trop peu pour un gîte de 4 personnes ou 6 personnes, équipement cuisine trop léger. Il est peut-être temps de changer les box qui sont obsolètes. Logiciel de 2013, impossible de regarder les Netflix ou Prime Video. Pour finir, différents travaux d'entretien à prévoir. Tel que les chambres en haut. Il fallait soulever les portes légèrement pour fermer. la deuxième chambre, la poignée était cassée. La chambre du bas, la poignée était défectueuse. La porte de la salle de bain décollée en partie basse , très mal découpées risque de de blessures par écharde. carrelage décollé à l'entrée de la salle de bain. manque de sécurité au niveau des escaliers, risque de blesser à la tête.

L’appartement étais spacieux pour accueillir 6 personnes

Apparement pour 6 personnes il n’y a que un divan pour 3 personnes les autres ont du s’asseoir à terre pour regarder la tv… en parlant de sa la tv super lente pour regarder un film, il marque qu’il y a 2 toilette au final il n’y en a que 1. 3 ventilateur pour 3 chambres sauf qu’il y en a un qui ne fonctionnais pas on a réclamer le jour même on nous en a apporter un une semaine après le jour avant qu’on parte on a passer 3 nuit blanche a cause de la chaleur avec un bébé de 4mois qui n’a pas dormi non plus ! et pourtant ils disent qu’il n’y a pas besoin l’appartement est frais c’est totalement faux c’est un four ! 1 serviette de bain par personne pour une semaine c’est un peu maigre. Un jour soir on rentre du lac on veut prendre une douche on a plus d’eau chaude on téléphone à la personne responsable elle ne dis rien faire ! Comme le ménage doit être fait avant de partir le matin on demande pour rester 1h en plus on nous réclame 10€ par heure supplémentaire ce qui n’est pas logique on doit payer pour rester à nettoyer le logement hors qu’il y a une femme de ménage qu’on paye dans le prix pour faire sa ! Pas assez de vaisselle pour 6 personnes et quand on est arriver on a du relaver la vaisselle qui étais sale et certaines casser. 2 rouleaux de papiers wc pour 6 personnes pour une semaine on a dû aller en racheter. Même pas une lavette pour nettoyer la table. Je ne recommande pas du tout !!

Bien mais équipements un peu juste

L'emplacement dans le centre ancien de Troyes est très appréciable. Les lits étaient très confortables. L'appartement est très calme.

L'équipement en vaisselle est trop juste pour un appartement de 6 couchages. Nous étions 4 et le lave vaisselle aurait pu être appréciable mais comme il y a peu de vaisselle, obligé de la faire à la main. Dommage aussi que le coin salon ne dispose pas d'un canapé suffisamment grand ou de fauteuils complèmentaires pour permettre à tous de s'y installer. L'espace de la pièce de vie est pourtant suffisemment grand et agréable.

Bien juste quelques points à améliorer

Le logement était spacieux, les lits confortables et l’emplacement au top pour visiter le centre de Troyes. Il y a un parking gratuit à 5min à pied mais la possibilité de se garer devant le temps de décharger.

Il faisait très froid quand nous sommes arrivées malgré qu’on nous ai dis que le logement était occupé la veille, tous les radiateurs étaient éteints même pas mis en hors gel ou un minimum… De plus comme je les signalais à mon arrivée j’aurai apprécié que l’on me précise que la chambre du bas dans le couloir proche de l’entrée n’avait plus de porte… donc vu le froid à l’arrivée c’était pas top pour dormir la première nuit. Et juste la cafetière ne fonctionnait pas, aucun écoulement d’eau.. elle doit être entartré! Dommage

Un très beau weekend en plein coeur de Troyes

L'appartement est spacieux et bien équipé. De plus, il est situé au centre de Troyes, et tout est accessible à pied. La partie commune est spacieuse et permet de se retrouver tous ensemble, ce qui est appréciable. Il est possible de profiter d'un parking gratuit à 5 minutes de marche. Nous n'avons pas rencontré notre hôtesse, mais elle était immédiatement disponible lorsque nous l'avons appelée par téléphone.

Nous aurions apprécié avoir une serviette de toilette en plus de la serviette de bain individuelle. La porte de la salle de bain ne ferme plus, et les déplacements sont très bruyants, y compris des autres locataires du bâtiment. Les boîtes aux lettres esplosées dans l'entrée ne donnent pas une bonne image de l'endroit. La pression d'eau dans la douche ne permet pas de se rincer les cheveux correctement.
