Rey Lagarto Hostel

The facilities were amazing, especially the rooftop with the hammocks. Such a good place to relax. The rooms were big enough.

Nothing.

The proper is great. The rooms are clean. The kitchen and fridge are very handy. They have a rooftop little patio. That’s great to see the stars but above all else to service for the people who handle the place is amazing, my flight got delayed like 12 hours flying into Calama, which is basically ruined my whole plan and I actually didn’t even get to stay the first night here, Karin was extremely patient and helpful while I was basically had no idea if and when I would get there, they didn’t even charge me for the first night reservation because obviously stayed a lot a few more nights. I would say this is better for younger people or people that like more social environments but it’s also on the quieter side of town so if that makes it pretty good too 10 out of 10 experience.

Very well taken care of. Very clean. Cosy atmosphere.

More toilets or outside of the shower is an improvement.

Clean, nice rooftop & people

2 bathrooms for about 30 people in the whole hostel, wifi didn’t work outside of bedroom dorms & my partner got charged 8000 pesos to use the washing machine which was in the common area where there was no signage that it had to be paid for. Happy to pay if Theres signage but also for it to be 8000 pesos and be told AFTER the clothes is washing put us in an awkward position.
