Ave Maria is a very pleasant guest house. The staff is very, very helpful, nice & polite, you can easily feel like home. The bathrooms are clean and the location is 10/10! I d repeat the experience.

the location was perfect in St Julian’s, close to everything you need!
overall I enjoyed my stay however I didn’t necessarily feel comfortable all of the time as a solo female traveller. Mass (the owner) ensures that all females are in the same room which is great. There is no lockers in the rooms for your belongings and the doors to bedrooms don’t get locked either so you need to be comfortable with that. There is also no air conditioning and it makes it VERY hard to fall asleep at night.
