The Cabana was just incredible. As simple as unique and cozy. The host was super nice and helpful for the activities. A must do is the paddle tour in the Laguna at the sunrise that they organize directly for you. They also have bikes for visiting the town.

Tranquil communal areas, loved the rooftop terrace, owners were nice and helpful.
The noise. When I booked here I thought it would be quiet as it’s away from bacalar centre but it was the opposite. There was continuous loud barking from neighbours dogs throughout the day/night resulting in a poor nights sleep on all three nights. There is also a bar round the corner that plays very loud music until quite late.
