Pleasant but needs to be cleaner for higher rating.

Comfortable bed and shower and location was excellent

carpets and baking tray left in the oven dirty. Keys were not in the key safe so had to wait 15 mins for someone to come and let me in.

Perfect location for us to visit family in the area. Very generous hosts, everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the little court yard. Kitchen very clean with modern appliances. Will be staying again when we visit family.

Good location and convenient parking

Easy to access and allocated parking space was useful.

Unlocking bollard for parking space was fiddly. Cleanliness was average. Some basic touches were absent compared to previous properties we've stayed in - for example no shower gel, kitchen basics like cooking oil, ketchup and so on. Also had a knock on the door from a neighbour asking about post - wouldn't expect to be disturbed when staying in the property.

Excellent, well thought out apartment close to the town centre

Awaiting on a house purchase, I’ve stayed in many apartments over the last couple of months. This was the best so far. Excellent layout, well stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor area, private parking space and a large smart tv with Netflix etc. The bedding was crisp and white and the shower very powerful.

Would recommend. We stayed for two nights as needed accommodation for a family wedding nearby.

It might suit some guests to be given an optional extra of a breakfast hamper or standard provisions depending what time they arrived. Beds very comfy, house was warm and cosy and had everything you'd need such as towels, iron and ironing board. Well situated for a nearby family wedding at The Alcumlow Wedding Barn in Astbury. A house suited us better than a hotel room for the weekend stay.

The only thing i'd maybe suggest is when the time comes to replace the sofa, perhaps opt for a small L-shaped sofa as there wasn't really space for three people to sit.

Everything about the property was exceptional, minutes from both town centre and beautiful Astbury Mere park. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

I couldn’t fault it in any way.

Two night stay

The street is very quiet, and the parking easy. The Host provided good detailed check in info. The bed was very comfy and the bedding soft. The whole house was very clean. Walking distance to good size supermarket..

Small things: The non-fan assisted oven is very slow to heat and it took 50 mins to preheat to 180 - in hindsight I would've brought food I could've microwaved or done on the hob. There wasn't any hand soap or dishwasher tabs. Also no battery in the dvd remote. It is very narrow on the WC between the bath and the wall - you may struggle if you are in a bigger body. You can't sit at the island as the stools are too high.
