A very comfortable stay at a beautiful bank of Meuse.

Our stay was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such thoughtfulness and care from our host. Not only did he prepare a homemade meal for us upon arrival, but they also had beers, champagne, farmers eggs, and homemade butter waiting in the fridge :) This level of attention to detail and hospitality was truly above and beyond. The house itself was tastefully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and the perfect size for our family getaway. All was very clean, fresh. Beds were super comfortable. The convenient gas fireplace was a highlight, especially during 1-2 colder evenings. Our kids enjoyed Netflix subscription which was active on both of the flat screens. The location was also fanstastic, with the river right outside our door providing a peaceful and calming atmosphere, and plenty of choices for shopping in the town nearby. Another huge highlight of the trip were the electric bikes available at the facility. We were able to explore the multiple bike trails in the beautiful surroundings, which was a fun experience. It was so generous of our host to provide them for us, and it really added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. Overall, I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated vacation experience. Our host truly went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, I would recommend this place to our friends and family without hesitation.

Exceptional

Everything - the owner was very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with delicious homely food such as milk, butter, eggs etc. The place was very comfortable and there was everything that was needed! The interior is very modern and beautiful. The area is beautiful, there is peace and quiet, a great place to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This place is also a great base for exploring the surrounding area and the most popular points of the region. Thank you for the delicious, fresh Belgian waffles that our children liked very much. We recommend this place very much !!!

This place is an absolute gem and guarantees a fantastic stay! The house is beautiful and impeccable, located in a very nice town with lots to do around, and the tranquil views of the Meuse are worth making this place a destination, but what truly makes it special is the care brought to the place by its owner, and his quite amazing sense of hospitality. We are travelling a lot and staying in all kinds of places but this house will have a special place in our memories thanks to its owner. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay!! And close to everything

Everything was perfect! No less! The hospitality of the magnificent owner and his great spirit and local tips, the brand new facility, oh...and the views. .. We took a daily long cycles on the house FREE electric bicycles. Went to the close by Boulanger to buy fresh breakfast, along the river the silence of the woods and country side. The fire place huge TV, as we say in Dutch, it was gezelig 😃 So, as said, all was perfect!

Prachtig uitzicht en perfect voor een weekend weg

Het mooie uitzicht over de maas en de wandelingen in de regio zijn fantastisch, het ontvangst was zeer goed. De eigenaar geeft een goede uitleg van het huis, de regio en de fietsen. Daarnaast kregen we ontbijt beleg, verse eieren en een pasta voor de eerste avond. De bedden waren ook zeer goed.

Alhoewel de kachel het huisje prima verwarmde was de vloer in de keuken en woonkamer vrij koud. Ook in het toilet bij de keuken was fris

Wohnung am Fluss mit schönem Blick, aber mit Abstrichen beim Konfort

Toll waren die Betten, das bequeme und große Sofa, die nette Begrüßung und das schnelle Reagieren des Vermieters, als die Heizung nicht lief und natürlich der Blick auf den Fluss sowie die Fahrräder.

Schwierig fanden wir, dass auf den Fotos für uns vorab nicht erkennbar war, dass es im Haus keinerlei Türen gibt. Zwischen den Etagen sind steile Treppen, an denen ein Juteseil befestigt ist, um den Aufstieg zu erleichtern. Für ältere Menschen ist die Unterkunft daher nicht die beste Wahl und auch nicht für jene, die schnarchen oder gerne ihre Privatsphäre haben wollen, da es ohne Türen natürlich sehr hellhörig ist. Dazu kommt, dass das Zimmer unterm Dach sehr schlecht isoliert ist und man den Verkehr entsprechend hört. In der Küche steht ein erhöhter Tisch mit den passenden erhöhten Stühlen. Die Idee dahinter ist sicher der bessere Blick auf den Fluss, jedoch sind die Stühle nicht für langes Sitzen geeignet und Gleiter wären wirklich ein Tipp von uns.

Privé, goed bereik. Mooi interieur. Elektrische fietsen tot je beschikking.

Naast grote weg met veel verkeer, goed hoorbaar van ‘s ochtends vroeg. Badkamer bevindt zich in de eerste slaapkamer (afgescheiden met gordijn) Huis niet ideaal voor 4 personen.

Pure heerlijkheid op alle vlakken

We werden zo hartelijk ontvangen! Zo veel uitstekende zaken werden aangeraden! Alles was uitstekend. Badkamer met jacuzzi en grote douche. Slaapkamer met airco! Prachtige keuken met uitzicht op de Maas. Alles totale perfectie!
