Tonge Barn

Excellent location in the summer with a lovely garden and a stream running through. The barn conversion with small individual rooms is of a high standard, and although there is a railway line very close, I didn't hear the trains from my room. Parking is very close to the rooms and so very easy unloading and loading the car. The rooms are well equipped with iron and board, microwave, small fridge and kettle. The rooms are air conditioned, although quite small and the bed very comfortable.

The breakfast was a choice of packaged cereals, orange juice and full English. I would have liked a choice of fresh fruit and smoked fish (salmon or haddock) instead of the full English breakfast. On the plus side, the full English is freshly cooked and good quality.

Lovely room. Really comfy bed. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. The manager and staff were super helpful and friendly.

The walls were so so thin. Someone was snoring in the room near me, I couldn’t get any sleep.
