Not what expected

Location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Apartment wasn't ready when promised. Had to kill time. We assumed the apartment was to ourselves but we only had a plain room on the third floor up a very narrow winding staircase. (not that easy for an older couple - we thought the room would be one flight up) Apartment and Kitchen was shared with students in two other rooms. They were there for a DJ festival. Not the owner's fault but kids were coming home from the festival at five and six in the morning yelling as they walked down our alley. Just bad timing. All in all an okay stay but not what we were expecting. Maybe we didn't notice the description accurately.

It was clean and since nobody was there we had the whole place to our selves.

No internet at all. No tv (tv is physically present) but no remote, a lot of unfinished stuff in rooms, electrical cables on the wall, dirt on the walls, outdated furniture and uncomfortable beds, crazy stairs that are so small and dangerous, AC units not cleaned and very old, making a lot of noise during work.

Amazing Visit!

The location and view were excellent. Great hist and value for apartment!

The shower worked but the mount was broken. Check in was a little hard as our plane was later than planned. When we finally arrived, the apartment we orginally booked wasn’t available but we got a free upgrade so all turned out well. We would rent again.

The place was excellent , In very good location. The place was not easy to find but the owner gave good instruction via phone and was very helpful with parking and accompayning to the location. I reccomend strongly the place.

Great location and views of old town Split and the harbour

The view from the Apartment with Sea View is spectacular. After climbing the flights of stairs, it was a wonderful sight to see the harbour and the city from the small balcony. The apartment had everything a traveller would expect as far as bathroom, kitchen and laundry amenities go.

The Apartment with Sea View is advertised with 2 bedrooms, one room with a queen bed and twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. It's also advertised as having a sofa bed for 2 people. This is not accurate as at Aug/Sept 2022. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, and two children or very small adults would have to sleep on the sofa bed. This was very disappointing for our group of 4 ladies who expected to sleep in a bed to themselves. Please double check the bedding situation before booking if you expect 2 single beds. Wifi was pretty ordinary and was only useful when sitting in the lounge area.

Several essentials missing: Not enough towels, toilet paper, or scraper to scrape away water from the bathroom floor, no mat in bathroom, no water in the fridge, no pepper or coffee, only 1 wash tap for dishwasher. Little things that would have made our stay so much better.

Pictures on the webpage do not match the real accomodation

Accomodation was completely different from the pictures on booking webpage. Host changed our accomodation without previous announcement although we were in contact before our arrival couple of days (they told us it was due to covid infection at the place we were supposed to stay, but we were not informed about it in advance, which I don't understand why). Replacement we got, was not worth that money and it fully changed the perspective of our trip in Split. Place was old, not that clean, bathroom did not have a real door but some improvisation of it. We had room with three single beds and we had to take stairs to reach it, which is not adjusted for people with disabilities. Neither booking customer service or host wanted to refund us at least part of the money, so I would not recommend booking of this accomodation to anyone. It can easily happen that you get some random accomodation and you would not be informed about it in advance.

Like my second home

Stayed for the 4th or 5th time at this place. My returning shows how amazing the house, location and the owner is. Came on New Year's Eve. Stayed for 5 days. Mr. Drago (owner) brought me some vine and his wife send me some home made cookies to celebrate into new year. Although it was winter, heating did amazing job and I felt warm like home. Looking forward going back in spring again :)

When we arrived at 8PM it appeared that appartment that I've booked are damaged by previous visitors and we were moved to other appartments: much smaller (smthng like 25m2 at 2 levels instead of 40 at one level) at ground floor instead of sea view, not really clean, bathroom wasn't work properly, I can hear all sound from the street during all night - talks, bikes, etc. It wasn't fair exchange and at 8PM after the flight looking for new apparts - it's not what you'd want. And nobody informed me ahead that it's happed, so I could look for other booking during the day. My worst stay at Split.

La posizione, la pulizia, la disponibilità del proprietario ad aiutarci anche in tarda serata

La struttura NON è un alloggio, ma è più simile a un ostello in quanto la casa è a disposizione di diversi turisti e la cucina è in comune con tutti. Il bagno è separato dalla camera e vi si accede con una chiave diversa. Si arriva alle camere da letto attraverso scale ripide e pericolose. È andato bene per 3 notti, ma un soggiorno più lungo sarebbe stato problematico. Considerato tra le altre cose il prezzo pagato (in linea coi prezzi di un appartamento ma non di un ostello), mi è sembrato disonesto non specificare fin da subito la presenza di spazi comuni.
