Not quite as expected

The apartment that I had booked at Beaugency -2 as a single occupant was on the ground floor across from a bar and a noisy main road. It was very hot, and as the windows could not be tilted - and there was no way you could just leave them open due to the location ,even with the shutters closed ,as the could be easily opened from the street level. I contacted the owner and asked if it was possible to find another accommodation. Kasia was very nice about it and offered another apartment in a different building about 600m up the road which meant separating from my co- travelers but that was no problem. On the positive, this new place was much nicer and quieter and had A/C which was very much needed due to the heat and again, ground floor, no way to keep the windows open. A/C in bedroom worked fine, the one in the living area leaked water and had to be shut down. Bathroom had a musty smell due to an old sewer system( I guess) . Over all both places are in need much better maintenance and much better cleaning. Washing the windows once in a while would be nice too. Also the kitchenware is very limited, not really the place to cook your meals. On the other hand - the price was low, a fact that I had not really given the attention I should have before making the booking. Communication with the owners and prompts for arrivals however were good….

One night winter stay OK for adults, not for babies.

It’s spacious and close to the main road, has place to park.

During a winter stay we felt very cold, not possible to regulate temperature, we stayed with a baby and were afraid he would get sick. Also beware if you are not a smoker as the property smells of cigarette.

Pleasant

Free off-road parking at the rear of the property. Easy to access and walking distance to bars and restaurants in Beaugency.

The cleaning could be better, especially in the bathroom where there was quite a lot of dust/mildew. Also some of the electrical fittings were missing covers. Only one bowl in the kitchen. There was a portable AC unit supplied but apartment 4 (on the top floor, in the roof) was very hot indeed - too hot to sleep and the AC wasn't powerful enough to cool it down. It would really benefit from some insulation to keep the heat out in summer.

Very good value for money, with a few improvements.

The location was really good. Spacious apartment. Very good value for money. We needed an iron and more coat hangers and they were provided for us.

The mattress is very hard. The shower head was not attached to the unit, so kept falling down. Very little water coming out of bathroom sink.

La petite cours pour garer le véhicule, la salle de bain malgré des odeurs d'égouts le matin. Message du propriétaire pour accéder au logement au top.

Les photos misent sur le descriptif du logement ne correspondent pas à celui dans lequel l'on a séjourné mais à d'autres dans le même bâtiment. Le voisin du rez-de-chaussée très bruyant qui est venu taper à la porte d'entrée en essayant de l'ouvrir en pleine nuit durant les deux jours d'occupation du logement. Lit pas très confortable. Ustensiles de cuisine pas très propres (Casserole et poêle).

Décevant je ne recommande pas !

Nous avons été très déçu à notre arrivée ,le propriétaire était prévenu de l'heure de notre arrivée et aurait dû mettre le chauffage adéquat, mais il faisait 14 degrés dans l'appart ,nous lui avons téléphoné pour monter le chauffage ,mais il a fallut beaucoup de temps pour que la température remonte ,le matin il y avait seulement 17 !!!

Grote ruimte met goeie airco maar slechte matrassen.

Een ruim appartement, goede airco (wat nodig was, loft onder het dak), correcte prijs.

Matrassen zijn niet goed, zeker die van het dubbelbed was slecht. Dunne matras van 10cm dik, dit kan echt niet in de verhuur. Schimmel aan de douchedeur zou moeten verwijderd worden, zeker als het na elk gebruik wordt gekuist.

Appartement cosy, la climatisation, le parking dans la cour intérieure, l’internet, l’espace, la propreté, propriétaires réactifs et sympathiques.

L’appartement est au deuxième étage et non au premier étage comme indiqué (la porte d’accès à l’appartement est bien au premier, mais il faut monter encore d’un étage pour y accéder) Petite odeur persistante dans la salle de bain, il manque un grille pain, la literie n’est pas dans les standards actuelles mais confortable tout de même.

Emplacement bruyant, porte d'entrée avec code qui déclenche un bruit infernal quand les autres locataires rentres à 1h du matin, literie inconfortable, odeurs désagréables, cafetière pleine de calcaire, cafetière filtre non nettoyée, serviettes de toilette taché.

Das Appartement ist groß und hell. Die Lage ist gut. Die Vermieter waren hilfsbereit. Die Klimaanlage war bei der Hitze sehr angenehm.

Die Ausstattung ist eher dürftig und von nicht sehr guter Qualität. Es gibt keinen Kleiderschrank, keine Waschmaschine, keine Geschirrspülmaschine und eine dürftige Besteckausstattung (z.B. kein Brotmesser) Man muss wissen, dass zwei steile Treppen zum Appartement im Dachgeschoss führen. Die Sauberkeit insgesamt ist nicht gut.

Logement très propre et bien équipé pour un séjour court (surtout niveau petit déjeuner).

Franchement, il faudrait être difficile. Le seul tout petit bémol, pour ceux qui auraient le sommeil sensible, consiste en l’ouverture de la porte extérieure qui peut s’avérer bruyante en pleine nuit (mais qui assure la sécurité).

Emplacement central

Grosse déception, passez votre chemin Fenêtres en simple vitrage et température entre 16 et 17 degrés dans l'appartement juste intenable en hiver Malgré appels et échanges de messages le propriétaire n'a pas su changer le paramétrage ce qui est inadmissible, et plus de nouvelles depuis que j'ai porté réclamation... À cela rajouter le bruit de la rue ! Je n'imagine même pas louer en été...
