Quinta do Porto Nogueira

Wow where to begin with this country house. Stunning location, amazing property. The care and attention lavished on us by Nelson and Lucia was 5 star and could not be bettered. The local based food served at breakfast and for our evening meal was plentiful and delicious. I think the menu though small was prefect concentrating on a single superbly cooked main, along with delicious starters and desserts. It was so good we never looked for anywhere else for our evening meals. And the wine!! I know we were at a winery/vineyard but Nelson's recommendation were spot on and amazing to taste. Breakfasts were amazing also, simple and delicious, cooked/prepared to order and perfection. For a restful break and as a base to explore you could not do better, with hosts that catered for our every whim without being intrusive, a real skill practiced perfectly, you will not find better.

Beautifully renovated Quinta with lots of charm and atmosphere. Set in quiet surroundings with a huge garden/park . Amidst vineyards and pear orchards this place gave us an unforgettable stay. The staff were absolutely great. Helpful and kind in every way. The owners as well- we were treated to a tour of the vinery . A perfect setting if you are a couple, but indeed also if you a are group looking to do wine tasting. The Quinta has splendid surroundings for a wine tasting experience. Big , comfortable yet very cosy areas with all you need to have an unforgettable stay. I will highly recommend anyone to visit here. Our thanks to owners and staff for a wonderful stay.

El hotel es muy bonito, confortable, luminoso y muy bien decorado. Pero si hay que destacar algo es como nos sentimos mimados y atendidos por Fátima. Inolvidable
