Quite noisy in the evening

The ability to contact the host prior to our stay was really helpful. Our host Nigel popped by to check we had arrived safely and that everything was ok . The swimming pool was much needed in the 28 degree heat

The caravan is lovely other than the hallway floor needs attention and we couldn't get the oven to work. We didn't raise a concern about the oven as we used the bbq instead.

The Caravan was nice and Clean, and was decent value

There was some wear and tear as to be expected with an older caravan, but everything was nice and clean The breakfast and drinks at the clubhouse were quite pricey (cup of tea, not a pot, was £4)

We did not eat breakfast, but had a couple of snacks, which were perfectly fine. The location was reasonably good. The on site facilities were better than anticipated and the pub staff were pleasant. The weather was good, which is always a bonus.

We would have appreciated earlier notification regarding the need to bring our own bedding, towels and soap/shampoos etc. The ant infestation maybe can't be helped, but ant powder provision would have mitigated the problem. Most of the taxi firm numbers supplied were no longer in service and finding a reasonably priced company proved impossible. We were quoted £64 for a one way, approximately 8 mile, trip to a birthday celebration in Burnham On Crouch at 7pm on Saturday evening, which we considered extortionate. We ended up driving to the function instead.
