Cosy home away from home.

Pennine view is a lovely, cosy, restful nest. I loved the messages and notes around the house. The children had toys to play with and books that suited their taste. Well equipped kitchen. It was so lovely we wished we were there for longer. Adele is a great host. Thank you.

Reasonable Value but I would not stay at this property again

TV had a good selection of channels, bottle of wine was very welcome. Kitchen very well equipped.

Parking was at the back of the houses in a dingy area which did not have enough room to park our 7 series BMW safely in. The whole parking area was full of cars, vans and camper vans all really close to each other. My husband is a professional driver so it is not like he was inexperienced in parking a car. We arrived late at night which made it even worse, there were puddles everywhere, potholes and visibility was poor so getting around and finding the room was a little bit tricky. Heating was either on full blast and really hot or if you turned it down to 18.5 as suggested it was too cold. We arrived late on Friday and were out all day on Saturday returning at about 11 so we did not feel it was appropriate to contact the owner to raise this. Hot water for the bath was a bit odd, apparently you needed to put it on really slow and then it would come hot. This worked on Sat morning eventually but not on Sunday, the water was cold so I left it. Stairs up to the property were an issue for us, they were narrow and steep. Overall for what you are paying I would say this is reasonable value but it was not what we expected so we were disappointed. It didn't help that the vendor asked us to give them any negative feedback direct so that they would not receive a poor score on Booking.com! I am a great believer in leaving an honest review.

The beds were comfortable, the facilities were top-notch, and everything was spotless. The location was perfect—quiet but close to shops and transport. The staff were welcoming and made sure everything went smoothly. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Pennine View Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay.

Clean and comfortable home. Good quality furniture and nice decor. A friend who travelled with us stated it was her dream home and loved the ambience of the home.

The listing was two bathrooms when in fact one bathroom on the upper floor and an additional toilet with a basin with a washing machine in the room located on the first floor. Not an issue for our group but need to mention for those with enablement needs that the home is not an apartment but a house with stairs to the first floor then more stairs as expected for the spacious two comfortable bedrooms. Thank you for the note about additional step for the kitchen, diner living room.

Peaceful and cosy little home away from home - clean and great value

This was a very peaceful abode. The property was very clean and the bedding was very fresh, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Didn’t have a musty smell. Clean and decent kitchen plus cutlery. I was pleasantly surprised by the extras, (toiletries, video games, grateful for fans in every room!) The instructions posted around the house were very helpful. Especially loved the bee theme around the whole property. It was very cute. The private parking at the back was very quiet and safe, our 7 seater fitted comfortably in the space provided and was visible from the apartment. Had booked this short notice for our family of 7 (including two toddlers) due to previous booking falling through. For the price we paid, it was definitely above and beyond. Close to shops for basic food supplies. We had our own transport so it was good location to get to Rochdale town centre and also going into Manchester. The directions for getting to the apartment once in town and directions to the parking were very detailed and spot on. It really helped a lot. Thank you Adele for making our stay wonderful.

Best night's sleep

Spotlessly clean and the beds were divine, I had some of the best night's sleep ever. Good quality bed linen. Great communication leading up and really helpful whilst we were there. Overall a good stay for a few days

Lived up to expectations

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well maintained and comfortable property. The apartment is well furnished with everything you need and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The location was perfect for us as you can be into the centre of Manchester - the station is a short walk and the train ride is just 20min - or you have the beautiful Pennines on your doorstep if you want the countryside. Hollingworth Lake nearby is well worth a visit. Can’t fault the host Adelle, who provided very helpful information for our stay and was quick to respond any questions. Finally, I really appreciated that the property has a private parking space which is away from the main road. Very much looking forward to returning to stay here in future!

Absolutely perfect for our needs

We stayed at the property over Christmas, and had a fabulous time there. The property was extremely well equipped, and had absolutely everything we needed, both in the kitchen to cook Christmas diner and in general. The property was very cosy and comfortable. For us the property was perfectly situated with access to the Pennines and also local amenities. The beds were really comfortable and we found the property very quiet. The host was available and very easy to contact, but we found this wasn't needed.

Excellent Value for Money in a cozy home that felt like it had the touches of a 5 star hotel!

The flat (which felt more like a house) was so clean and cozy and the host had all the little details nailed to make for a luxury accommodation stay- from little notes in every room, to a welcome basket, extra linen and toiletries and even a box of “just in case you forgot”. There were games for the kids (and adults) and we all had the best sleep in the most cozy beds. The hosts were so helpful with any questions or problems we had. This is a gem of a place with loads of walks around and things to do near greater Manchester.

Not the greatest views but that didn’t take away from the experience - it was a very quiet location considering we were near a main road.
