Central 214 Boutique Hotel

The breakfast was amazing. We had the English breakfast and it was perfect. There was so much else we could have had as well, but we were too full! They also booked and paid for a taxi to the airport.

The Staff was warm and polite! We recieved the best service from the guy who welcomed us and the Cheff who cooked delicious breakfast for us every day! There are plwnty of juices, coffees, fruits and yoghurt desserts. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable with everything needed for a good rest. The hotel has elevator and everything from the front door to the room runs smoothly with a key card.. Our receptionist guy booked a taxi to the airport for us and personally escorted us to the door till taxi arrived. Also we were offered complimentary sandwiches. Overall highly recommend the stay in this boutique hotel due to the brilliant location/4 bus stops from Valetta/, good price and conditions and excellent service!

The only problem was the pillows, which were changed straight away after our request. The cleaning personnel was putting the A/C on so it was freezing cold when we were coming in the evening in the room, but after our request, it was all settled.

AC Staff very helpful and communicative Airport transfer Breakfast

AC blowing onto the bed, did not have good sleep Old crappy building No insect nets on windows The bathroom smelled like vomit The free kinnie tasted like desalinated seawater 🙃

The room was nice and spacious. A lot of amenities.

I did not realize the hotel was only managed by one person. I dont speak the local language and the staff member did not speak good english. This led to miscommunication on several occasions. I also did not like the lack of typical hotel facilities, such as a check in desk. I needed a taxi in the morning, suitable for a toddler. When I researched options prior to my stay, it advised that most hotels would be able to order these kind of taxis. This was not the case, as there was only the private host. and I ended up stranded for almost an hour in the heat, trying to find a suitable taxi.
