What I liked most about this place was the local island vibe. It feels simple, quiet, and very relaxed, which was exactly what I was looking for. Max-san was such a friendly and welcoming host, and then there’s Happy, the sweetest cat around the property, incredibly friendly and surprisingly calm! Happy was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. 🐈 One of the coolest things is that Max-san can play traditional instruments, and he usually opens the musical nights with guests who can also play. It creates such a warm and spontaneous atmosphere, everyone just gets together, plays some music, and enjoys the evening. It really gives the place a special local charm that you probably wouldn’t get at a typical hotel. The facilities are pretty decent for the price. The property itself is quite old, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was. There was absolutely no unpleasant smell at all, which I really appreciated. You can tell that the place is well taken care of despite its age. Overall, it has a very simple and authentic local feel rather than being a fancy or modern accommodation. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, clean, reasonably priced, and with a genuine island atmosphere, I think this is a lovely place to stay. And if you’re lucky, you might get to enjoy a little music night with Max-san and the other guests too! 🎶

Nothing really! I had a very pleasant stay. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be helpful to have an English version of the house introduction/instructions as well. My friend who came with me doesn’t speak Japanese, so I imagine she might have had a little difficulty figuring out how things work around the house if I wasn’t there to help explain. An English version would make things a bit easier for international guests. 😊

ホストのマックスさんを中心に、とにかくスタッフのみなさんが温かい！！ あいにく宿泊日が台風で、毎日新聞稼働しているわけではないようですが、マックスさんのDIYの？サウナにいれてくださいました～ ゲストハウスが好きな方からすると楽園です🏝️🏝️🏝️

オーナーのMAXさん、はじめ怖いかな、って思ったけど(笑)優しい方でした たまたま他のお客様がいませんでしたが、楽しいゆんたくをすごさせていただきました ありがとうございました

ドミトリー使用だったのですが、1人の方が酔っ払っていたらしく、夜中にベッドのカーテンを開けられ嫌な思いをしました 宿泊施設の悪い点ではありませんが、そんな事もあるんだなと感じた点でした

Mike is a very nice and friendly host. The space was roomy and we felt very comfortable in this house. I think we will repeat. The place was very peaceful. Thank you for caring and making our stay unique!!
