Stay with Garden, Limburg

We rented the house for one week, and only after booking we received a message from the host stating that an additional €90 for utilities must be paid. This information was not mentioned anywhere beforehand, so it felt like an unexpected extra charge. Upon arrival, we noticed a few unpleasant details: there was a strong smell in the fridge, and the dishes/dishwasher were not clean. The biggest issue, however, was the temperature inside the house. It was cold throughout the week — during the day and at night. The heating could only be controlled remotely by the hosts, so the radiators were often barely warm and we were freezing. We were advised to heat the house with the fireplace, but this is not really a comfortable long-term solution for guests. The house itself is spacious and has potential, but our stay was affected by these issues.

This property is in a safe, family friendly neighborhood. All of the living areas were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials.

We stayed for more than 2 weeks so it would have been great if we could have used the laundry facilities at the house.

Very spacious and well designed. Large window foors on terrace and equipped kitchen ( need microwave though...) makes it a pleasant stay.

We liked the location and comfort of the facilities. The host was very friendly and helpful. This property is good value for money and gives easy access to Germany and a variety of lovely sauna spots such as Roetigen sauna, Carolus Therme and also Valkenburg Thermea 2000

liked all, clean property with modern standards. Suitable for Pets, Pet friendly Garden. Cozy fire place in living room, barbeque in garden. Lots of valuable attractions in neighbourhood ( walking distance) Excellent start point for bicyclers.

This end-of-terrace two-bedroom house is set in a quiet residential area of Kerkrade yet only an 8-minute drive to the local supermarkets (and walking distance to the Botanical gardens and more). The house is very spacious, lovely and modern and has been very tastefully decorated. The main bedroom has a large comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The shower room features an amazing shower with a steam-room feature and again, plenty of storage space. The large sitting/dining room was warm and comfortable. Thank you Tamara and Ron for your prompt assistance when we had problems with an appliance. We thoroughly recommend Restaurant Felice in Kerkrade, great food, great atmosphere and Bistro bie Jeanneke, Schin op Geul. We found several walks in the Southern Limburg area within 30 minutes drive. We visited the lovely town of Valkenburg and on a wet afternoon, Maastricht. If you enjoy walking in the hills and by rivers, then Southern Limburg is a good location in The Netherlands. There are several wetlands and reserves within an hour's drive and you’re never too far from Germany or Belgium.

There was an issue with the oven which I'm sure has now been rectified. The owners were particularly helpful.
