54 Bridge Street

Loved the cottage, beautiful, easy to find and well located. It looks small from the outside, but really big inside. However, it was really cold. We had to light a fire on the Saturday as the radiators were barely on. Having said that, I would definitely book again, but maybe not in winter. I loved that they left milk in the fridge and biscuits, tea and coffee. We didn't use most of them as we took our own, having experienced other air bnbs that don't provide them.. we even brought additional towels but didn't need those either as they provided plenty. Location is excellent, decor is lovely and the house very clean. There were 5 bedrooms, we only used three but all but one were en suite which was great. Very spacious , with 2 sitting rooms, so one for chatting and the other for those that had to work remotely. Overall a very lovely and well equipped house, with great instructions. We will definitely keep it in mind for when we come up that way again.

Only 3 things really, the cold as mentioned above, we were out all friday so didnt notice it really until Saturday, the towel rail in one of the bedrooms was hanging off the wall so we couldn't use it, but not a big deal and a couple of the door handles came off in your hands, but again no big deal.

Host were lovely and flexible, rooms were clean and comfy. The house was well stocked with glassware, crockery etc. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Absolutely stunning house. Perfect location. Luxurious decor. Really comfortable beds and linen. And a garden to relax and spend time with family. Will definitely return to 54 Bridge street.

Location was good for our needs with everything required and overall the property is OK.

The Plumbing !! A shower that leaks in to the front room, yes there is a sign stating wait for the macerator to kick in but even after waiting for it to do that it still leaks. The shower drain should be run so that it by-passes what a plumber described to me as "The Devils Spawn" The bath overflow doesn't appear to be connected as it leaks in to the dining room !! Too many taps that wobble about. A quality plumber needs to go in there and go through the property top to bottom sorting out these issues because whoever is supposed to be doing the maintenance doesn't appear to have done a very good job!
