A perfect setting very quiet

Lovely, fully equipped Shepherds Hut in a very quiet location looking out over the rolling landscape and some friendly horses. The owners are friendly, on site but not intrusive at all. The welcome items in the fridge were greatly received.
The only drawback was it wasn’t a fully enclosed pitch so our dog had to be tethered at all times.

Loved everything about this place. It feels so much bigger inside than it looks from the photos. So cosy with the log burner, it’s a really warm place so didn’t need it on really. The whole place was spotless. The owners were close by but never disturbed us. So close to all the beautiful villages so was perfect location to explore.
I would 100% want to stay here again however the only downside is the mattress on the bed. Could feel all the springs luckily we brought our own duvet from home which we slept on to give an extra layer. We do suffer from bad backs so this was quite an important thing for us.

We liked the peace, quiet and solitude
We needed nothing else apart from some food supplies. Non intrusive staff, present and available but not seen.
The fire inside and out added to the joyful experience of the dark nights and starry sky's.
That we didn't book longer x
