Seul bémol: la douche à l'eau bien froide

I was solo hiking for 5 days and stayed at four different camps during the time - I was very happy with all of them. Joy of Life Camp I remember especially because of the host Eid, who was great to chat with and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy the stay. I could go back again any day! He also arranged me a Jeep-ride to the southern edge of the desert based on my hiking needs. The view from the camp was superb opening up to many directions with both Wadi Rum cliffs and desert horizon to the south. Warm shower was available as was hearty and tasty dinner and breakfast. The value for money is unbeatable, just remember it is a desert so don't expect the exact same level of luxury and functionality as in cities. Nights are cold so be dressed up accordingly and take the stay as a bit of an adventure.
