Beautiful property with amazing rooms - very clean, modern and cozy! Love the peace and quiet and the views from the balcony or front yard were beautiful - you feel like you are inside a forest and I loved that. The reception staff were very friendly and upgraded us as well on request - which was awesome. For this cost, it is a great value. Will definitely come back for a romantic getaway!
They need some backup generator when power goes out due to bad weather. Power went out on the last night we were there and we had a difficult time with having to use flashlights to find our stuff at night - thankfully heaters were all gas based so they ran or we would have frozen up.

I loved the proximity to town and the cabins and gardens were very pretty...
The staff member taking care of our reservation was a grouch! She was really short with me for opting out of the texting thread for some reason, and was extremely condescending. She seemed to be annoyed by our presence. We almost avoided the free breakfast the next morning because we were worried about seeing her again. Her attitude contributed to the general idea I have of the property that it seems stuffy and unwelcoming. Not the go-with-the -flow Russian River vibes I come to expect from hospitality in Guerneville.
