Wakepond atostogų slėnis

We are going to Wakepond each year, the location is perfect, the restaurant serves pleasant meals. It is very quiet, calm and relaxing place. Even though there are several houses, we always have our own privacy.

Unfortunately this time there was an extreme storm. Due to the wind there was no electricity and water. There was no generator too. The staff did not communicates with ua whether it is temporary or we should prepare to the whole weekend to be without these “amenities”. We had to go to the city and look for candles and water. The restaurant also was closed due to those conditions. Even though we always like to stay here, this force majeure situation could be handled with more communication. For the next times it would be nice that the rooms would have at least complimentary water and candles since those conditions were not unexpected.

The few cottages was located beautifully next to a lake with wake board activities. Helpful service minded young people managed the facilities and the small restaurant ... thank you Nojus & crew for helping us out with washing of close and bike 🥰

We missed a small kitchen and a bigger fridge with a real freezer. It would also be great to have access to shared washing machines. But the crew were really helpful so we got our close washed after all 😊

Peaceful with nice views and very comfortable bed.

Unfortunately although various messages we had received stated that the cafe would be open for food all day it was entirely shut and we didn’t see a member of staff at all. (This was late May) The boiler in our lodge was making very loud strange noises so we phoned about and were offered to move lodges.

It was clean, nice environment.

We booked for 4 people. It was nowhere mentioned that 2 beds are sliding out of the double bed. Those were really small and uncomfortable. Making loud noise when turning and waking everyone in the room. My mom who is already a senior couldn't get off the bed on the side (as there was another person sleeping on the floor bed). She needed to slide to the feet side to get to the bathroom which was a real struggle. Mattresses were not comfortable. Also the fire alarm was blinking all night with blue light and reminding a lightning. The kids couldn't sleep and were afraid. The sink is in the same room as everyone is sleeping. Very uncomfortable. The room was prepared for 2 people, not 4. Only 2 cups, only 2 bags of tea. Also, not enough sitting place inside the room for 4. For the same price you can get 2 nice rooms with separate beds for everyone. All of us could barely get some rest and couldn't fall a sleep.
