The island was beautiful and the property was decorated to a very high standard! Lots of lovely touches like boardgames, coffee pods, a volleyball! It was very well kitted out for families who love nature.

This is truly a unique place to stay, as you'll be on a 13-hectare island filled with a variety of trees—mostly apple trees, as you would expect. We especially loved the view from the terrace. The entire BBQ area is very well designed and equipped with everything you could possibly need for grilling. The cabin itself is quite small, but that's not why you come here—you come to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Even when it rains, the covered terrace is a perfect place to relax and spend your time outdoors. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a more unique accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay!

I'm not sure if this can really be considered a downside, but we got the impression that the dock would be private and used only by us. Unfortunately, it's shared between two houses. During our stay, there were three fishermen on the dock almost all the time, which made us feel less comfortable using it ourselves, as we didn't want to sit right behind other people. On the other hand, some guests might see this as a plus—a great opportunity to meet your temporary neighbors.
