The cottage was spacious and comfortable, full of old world charm. We liked the quiet location with several local footpaths to walk our dog. Well situated for visiting attractions in the Lakes and Dales.
We couldn't use the oven as the control knob was broken. The washbasin pop-up waste was stuck down and badly coroded so water took a long time to drain away. Also, the Yale lock on the front door was hanging loose and fell off. (The door had a mortice lock as well so we could lock the door). These issues should all have been repaired/replaced prior to our stay.
