Ferienwohnung Attersee-Mondsee

Very friendly and helpful host, the property looks the same as in the images, location is between Attersee and Mondsee. Mondsee can be reached by walking for 5 minutes. We spent most of our days at Attersee, for which we used the car. I can fully recommend this place.

We recommend the host to install curtains in the 2nd bedroom.

Very comfortable beds. Nicely furnished. Well equipped. Nice balcony for outdoor space. Friendly and hospitable host lives next door. Good location to explore area. Good restaurant within easy walking distance.

View of pharmaceutical works dominates front of property. I know this is possibly an unfair comment as can’t really be helped but feel prospective guests do need to be aware of this. In an area of such outstanding beauty this really spoiled an otherwise great little property. Of course, many people may not be bothered by this as will be mainly out and about exploring the beautiful scenery of the area. I hope this is the case. I am probably guilty of not scrutinising the photos enough as you can see the pharmaceutical works in the background if you pay close attention!!! The property is just off a main road so quite a lot of passing traffic noise when windows open. Need car to get to nearby lakes.

Our stay was very enjoyable as the location and apartment was all as advertised. In particular, all the basic equipment for an apartement was all included, such as the washing machine, which was always very welcome after a long day on bikes. The Host is very pleasant to deal with, and any problem that we had was addressed promptly by him. Overall an enjoyable week in Austria.
