Apartment Alpenrock

Pohodlný příjezd i dostatečná možnost parkování. Hezké výhledy. Možnost regulace topení. Velké vybavení nádobí v kuchyni, včetně přístrojů (myčka, varná konvice apod.). 2 koupelny pro celou skupinu byly výborné. Oddělené pokoje dostačovaly. V přízemí lyžárna a skříň pro boty (nesmí se nosit do ubytování). V okolí hodně běžeckých tras, do hodiny cesty přístup k několika lyžařským areálům.

A large, spacious and clean apartment. We were a family of 7 and there was room for everyone. In the town you can buy everything, we did star tours, the location is excellent and the view is amazing!

When we arrived we easily found the keys, but we had a hard time finding the apartment itself. Until they explained to us that there is a door to the vestibule at the end of which is the apartment.

Spacious, well appointed apartment (ample room for a family of four; would easily be large enough for six); well equipped kitchen (non-stick pans, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer etc.); large balcony; helpful staff (replaced initially broken microwave within hours on a Saturday). Lots of hiking opportunities within ~1 hour driving distance. Two bathrooms. Good Wi-Fi coverage. Free, easy parking. No hidden costs (e.g. no separate energy charge). Quiet house (never heard any of the neighbours). Came with one-person sauna in one of the bedrooms. Staff reachable via Signal and very responsive. Would definitely book again.

Lugging stuff up to the fourth floor with no elevator gets old fast. (There is a winch which could have helped with the luggage, but it didn't work during our stay and not everybody would be comfortable operating it anyway.) In the summer, agricultural odours from nearby fields and stables can be penetrant. Doors too low for tall people (~190+ cm). Internet very slow (mobile broadband, ~1Mbps downstream, ~4Mbps upstream, latency often in the seconds). Upper floor gets uncomfortably hot during heat waves. Beds too soft (as they tend to be everywhere) and one of them creaked loudly with the slightest twitch of the occupant. Proprietor keeps some of his stuff in the apartment: e.g. two pairs of hiking boots, as well as some expired mustard in one fridge door compartment marked "private".
