Ferienhof Osl

We informed the owner of our expected arrival time in advance. When we arrived, I called her and she came shortly afterwards. We stayed on the first floor. The accommodation is located in a quiet area, almost at the edge of the town. It was very peaceful and we slept really well. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and the Wi-Fi worked well. There was a large above-ground swimming pool behind the house, although we did not use it because the weather was not suitable during our stay. There is also a bench behind the house where you can sit and watch the train that runs around the entire lake. Although the railway is quite close to the accommodation, we could barely hear the train from our room, even with the window open.

The only thing I would mention is that the mattresses were too soft and quite worn out. They were noticeably sagging in places. The children’s playground equipment could use some cleaning and maintenance to make it look nicer again. It looks quite old and a little neglected.

A very unique property with many pets and animals to play with including cats, bunnies, miniature horses, and chickens. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Unfortunately, there are many houseflies, which could be due to the proximity to the chicken coop. This is annoying as we couldn’t really open the windows or risk having to swat the swarms of invading houseflies. The location is just a tiny bit far from the ferry and train station, but it isn’t a problem since we drove.

Good facilities and appliances. Clean.

Very noisy neighbors (guest)and you could hear everything at 7am…. We couldn’t sleep in as the noises were too loud. This is a very kid friendly place, so if you are not used to, you won’t be able to rest well.
