Beautiful view, a bit of misleading advertising

We loved the views out to the ocean! The rooftop pool at sunset was amazing. The balconies were nice to relax on

Many of the photos advertised on booking.com actually are of other surrounding hotels including the raddison next door. The car park was extremely challenging to get in and out of and the breakfast wasn’t great. Additionally, if you stay in a two bedroom apartment be warned that one of the bedrooms isn’t actually a room and does not have a wall or door

An excellent place to stay!

The staff, especially the manager (Marco) were fantastic — friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The hotel offers a high standard, good breakfasts, and a beautiful rooftop terrace with a pool and a stunning sea view. We felt wonderful there. There was convenient parking available, either in front of the hotel or in the underground garage. We stayed before the high season and the staff surprised us by upgrading us to an even better room at no extra cost. We absolutely fell in love with this place!

If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to offer a bit more variety of vegetables or greens at breakfast.

Almost new apartment, white, clean, comfortable, stylish. The sea is in 10 mins. A very cozy place to spend a week in peace and meditations, as far in May there a few people here. The reception function with friendly and quick responsive Marco 💚 Good breakfast, with smth new every day. There were enough parking places on May. Thank you!

I would recommend to check the kitchen hood, the cooking odors permeate everywhere

Amazing sea views and beautiful sunsets. Beautifully styled, modern and spacious apartments in a peaceful location close to everything. Everything clean and excellent service at all times. Free parking in the garage. Daily changing options in the breakfast and warm milk to coffee as a nice addition.

Some fresh ready peeled/handled fruit would have nice and more dessert options in the breakfast. Maybe also some further variation in the daily breakfast could rise it to the same level as the apartments. It would have been also great to enjoy breakfast outside, but there was no area available to do this.

A family holiday by the sea

The seafront location, the rooftop pool and above all the friendliness of the staff, who are always attentive and helpful.

Although on the seafront, there is no direct access. You have to walk to the public beach (approx. 500 m) or pay for one of the private beaches.

Everything !!! From the first step in till the end of our stay , we were amazed with stuff, apartment it self and the view ! Breakfast was absolutely delicious ( continental and traditional food) , we would definitely be back and also Merlin apartment will be highly recommended !!! The pool at the roof top was also the spot you don’t want to miss.

My slice of heaven

For me this experience was paradise. I wanted a place that felt like home but had the luxury of a hotel. I wanted to be close to the ocean and have it as my front yard. I wanted support with the things I needed advice with because this was my first time in Montenegro. I wanted to find a place I never wanted to leave. My room was beautiful and lacked for nothing – kitchen, double beds, TVs, bathroom, and private balcony where I could lounge or dine. Even towels for the beach, rooftop pool above me, breakfast room on the ground floor. My view was of the endless ocean, if I fell off the balcony, I wouldn’t hit water, but it looked and felt like I would. (FYI – balcony is very safe, glass enclosed so it doesn’t spoil the view or enjoying the sun) The staff, friendly and lovely people. I got a transfer to and from the airport and the city, help with organising tours and general support through WhatsApp whenever I needed it. Suffice to say, I didn’t want to leave and after my initial booking in the offseason of April (which was as quiet and peaceful as I wanted) I extended my stay into May as long as was feasible for my commitments. It exceeded my expectations.

Excellent location, friendly staff, spacious and clean apartments. Parking might be a bit challenging in high season. Roof terrace plus pool was awesome and very quiet during our stay (mid September) Bring mosquito repellent (even in September) !!!!

Lovely place to be

Staff always smiling and willing to help. Breakfasts okay, tasty. Rooms decorated with taste, attention to detail, very clean, fragrant. We loved the smell of the towels and linens. Beautiful view to the sea, large balcony with chairs and table, beautiful view from the 5th floor to the area. Good location of the hotel - close to the beach (5 minutes walk), stores and restaurants, at the same time the area is quiet and peaceful.

Breakfasts could be more varied and a bit warmer.

Wonderful stay in a lively town

I cannot say enough nice things about Apartments Merlin! The apartment was well appointed: not huge but it felt spacious (there were 5 of us). It was spotless—you could probably eat from the floor. The balcony is large and faces the sunset. We ate dinner outdoors as the sun set, then watched the world go by. We were a little concerned about noise but we shouldn’t have worried. Although right in town next to the main promenade, the hotel is also set a bit away from the hustle and bustle. We slept great; not only because noise was not an issue but also because the beds were just right and the AC was effective and quiet. Abr then there was the breakfast! We have had a few nice hotel breakfasts during our travels but this breakfast takes the cake: tasty moussaka, roast peppers of two kinds, eggs made in a variety of ways, juices, etc. It was very good and not too heavy. The staff was also exceptional: courteous, kind, but not in your face. We even got a parting gift (Merlin towel as a memento and a bottle of nice wine)! I’d stop with my exuberant review here but our kids want me to add that they LOVED hanging out in the comfy bathrobes that the hotel provides.

The only challenge was parking in the garage because the corners are cut too narrowly. But the attentive staff helped out and we were able to depart quickly and without damage to our car.

Everything was perfect. Marco, Yousef and the team were so helpful. Marco went over and above to make our stay perfect. He suggested places to go visit and was there to help with anything we needed. The view was breathtaking and we had the perfect room, we will definitely be coming back.

Breakfast was very good and varied for the hot dishes. Pancakes weren't part of the menu however if you ask, they will especially bake them for you. The team of employees were very kind with a high level of service, keep up the good work! Furthermore the rooftop swimmingpool we liked very much, you have a very nice view over the sea and it was quiet all the time so very pleasant for relaxing and sunbathing. The see/beach is on walking distance nearby, 150 meters approx. and there is a free beach where you can lay on the ground (mix of stones, rocks and sand), however we preferred the beach from a hotel where you can rent 2 sunbeds and a table and umbrella for 10 Euro a day, which we thought was very cheap. The beach is with stones but we had our water shoes with us and that was no problem, no sharp stones anyway. The best was at the end of the day when the sun was about to go down, we had a room with front seaview and it was spectaculair to see the sun go down in the sea with a very clear view and a nice glass of wine on our balkony. Rooms were perfect as well and clean. 1 bedroom with 2 beds is connected to the balcony and to the living room with a door, the other bedroom is half open in the living room/kitchen. The bathroom was big and clean, kitchen we actually did not use often as the are has several restaurants and they are quite cheap so we'd rather went to the restaurant than cook ourselves. We have used this appartment to relax in our last week of holidays as we already were almost 2 weeks in Montenegro on 2 different locations where we have stayed and explored Montenegro. So this place is good for relaxing (and has the best sunsetview from all places in Montenegro) but you also can make excursions to several places from here.

Brand-new hotel

Helpful staff, perfectly clean, soundproof accommodation. Comfortable beds, big balcony, sea view, delicious breakfast, pool on the roof and parking place in front of the hotel (both of free). Night is silent, beach is clean and beautiful (50 m). As it is a dead end, there is no transit traffic, so the accommodation is not loud from the noise of the cars, even though it is located on the main street and directly on the beach. What do you want more for a perfect holiday?

Transport in front of the accommodation is a bit tight. But this is not because of the hotel. The streets are simply narrow.
