Posada La Casa Del Pintor

It was something between a fantastic museum and a wonderful hotel. We enjoyed our stay, although too short. Breakfast was magnificent and our hostess very accommodating. We really would like to recommend Posada la Casa del Pintor if you want to experience the beautiful small city Carmona.

I was driving by the town and found this hidden gem. I was trying to decide between this hotel and the Parador, but since I have stayed with the Parador across Spain several times, I decided to give this highly rated hotel a try. It turned out to be one of the best stays I have had. The hotel is actually in an Indianos mansion with several rooms. The whole second floor is well maintained, and you can see many paintings from the owner's family. I felt very welcomed, and they were able to give me a lot of tips. The highlight of the stay included the breakfast on the second day: 1. There were so many different variations and choices. 2. It is served to your desk; I actually had my own dedicated table. It was truly one of the best breakfasts I have ever had.
