Too expensive for the size and location

Very clean and well organized for such a small space (but limited kitchen utensils). Table and chairs outside. But as it was raining, we were not able to sit outside. And inside no comfy/cozy spot to sit. The vicinity of Eggum and its incredible cliff. Sort of moorlands nearby, great for a walk even though seems to be private land.

The pictures on the ad are dishonest. It is much too expensive for the size and the location. We paid the same price for a rorbur 3 times as big, in Sakrisoy! Sakrisoy has much more to offer, yet less expensive. And the views were spectacular. Here when I made a comment about the container when we arrived, the site manager told me you can see it in our pictures. Their picture is taken from below, they bent on their knees or had a child take the picture. Mine is taken while standing at the kitchen counter. That's all you see, a container. They should put it elsewhere, not in plain sight. As for the "dining" table, when you sit on the bar stools, you are looking at the bar half way through the window (obstructed view). In order to see the view, you need to lower the bar stool all the way down but then the table is too high, or you have to stand! This was the lowest point in our stay in the Lofoten islands, quite disappointing. Other places were definitely worth the money and left a strong and incredible memory. Not this one. Basically, they cut the original rorbur in 2: larger part is next door, looked quite cosy: couch, armchairs, kitchen, real dining table + floor above (we could hear other guests walking around). I wonder how expensive that part was considering our tiny space was 200€ a night. And light string was not working.

Very quiet and cozy stay in the middle of nature.

Quiet place on the shore of the Borg fjord.

The sitting area in the apartment wasn't very comfy, because of bar chairs. You can sit on such chairs only for a short time. We couldn't spent more time on the terrace outside because of fog and wind. So sitting inside wasn't comfortable, especially after hike, when we were little bit tired.

Great location out on the end of a peninsula surrounded by mountains and the sea on the doorstep. The bathroom and shower was great, the bed supper comfy. I loved walking our dog down the road in total serenity.

When visiting the Lofoten Islands the scenery is amazing and you choose somewhere to stay based on looking at beautiful views but out of the kitchen window we looked onto two shipping containers, the other windown over the beach was great but it would be nice if those containers could be elsewhere. The cabin is very small (it is called Borvag small so they do say its small but be prepared for very small). Downside to very small is no where to chill out other then on the bed and no fire place. I love chilling by the fire looking at beautiful scenery after a day out on the mountains. I think this is more important in winter as the place may not feel as small when you can sit outside on the verandar or on the beach. If you going out of season it may be better to book the large cabin

Amazing location in Lofoten

We stayed 3 nights at Borgvag and it was amazing. the cabin is perfect and we feel like in a cocoon immediately. the place is very quiet at the end of the road and the view is superb. It is an ideal place to see the midnight sun. Sitting on the bench next to the old lighthouse, what a relaxing and pleasant moment. It's a very good location to visit Lofotens. Our Host is very nice and we had a great time talking about his house and country.

Zurückziehen und die Ruhe geniessen

Die Lage ist bombastisch, 10/10. Direkt am Meer (Bucht) lädt zum geniessen und zurückziehen ein. Wirklich mini Wohnung, aber für 2 Personen ausreichend. Bett füllt daher das kleine Schlafzimmer komplett aus. Besitzer kurz angetroffen, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Barhocker sind effektiv über eine Dauer nicht die bequemsten...

nous n’avons pas aimé l’étroitesse des lieux. Ce rorbu a été restauré en deux appartements : un grand et un tout petit. Nous n’avons pas eu de chance nous avons eu le tout petit. C’est trop juste pour deux personnes. Nous n’avions pas la possibilité d’ouvrir nos valises. par ailleurs, en arrivant, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de voir que le lit n’était pas fait. Nous avons dû le faire nous-mêmes, et comme la chambre est très petite, (un peu plus grande que la taille du lit) c’était très inconfortable de le faire. La cuisine est minuscule, il n’y a pas de café ni de thé d’accueil. il n’y a pas de vraie table pour manger mais juste un bar avec des chaises hautes. une des deux personnes a forcément en face d’elle, le mur et non pas la vue. Au cours de notre séjour de neuf nuits sur les Lofton, nous avons eu beaucoup plus grand pour beaucoup moins cher.
