Superb

Cozy compact house on a quiet location close to the restaurants and splendid views of Rochehaut.

You have to bring everything yourself. From sheets, towels, to toilet paper and salt. Then you are asked a deposit in advance and directly after you enter you should judge the state of everything in the house, down to the number of plates and the state of the ceilings. No problems in the end, but this takes away some of the feeling of being welcome and on a relaxing holiday. Also the insulation is not up to modern standards. There is a hole in the door that let's in a lot of draft (easily insulated) and the main large window in the living is single glazing (more expensive to change, but likely a relatively short pay-back time).

Fijn huisje

Centrale ligging, zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit. Keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer compleet. Het huis heeft een aantal leuke knipogen in de aankleding zoals badkamer en toilet.

Interieur is wat verouderd en de afwerking is niet van hoog niveau. Niks wat vervelend of gevaarlijk is. Bijzonder dat er nergens raambekleding aanwezig was in de woonkamer.

Parfait à tout point de vue

Nous avons passé 4 jours au Chalet et que du positif... confort, décoration, équipements , tout était parfait. De plus, bien placé au centre du village, pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour aller au restaurant, boulangerie, boucherie ou supérette, c'est à quelques mètres. Beaucoup d' activités possibles: balades, train touristique, visite de Bouillon,... Et la propriétaire super, très à l écoute et disponible. Nous recommandons et reviendrons 🙂

Une très belle découverte

Décoration très cosy, on se sent chez soi dès qu’on passe la porte. Belle mise en valeur des pièces avec l’éclairage et les boiseries, sans oublier ce fameux WC au bout du couloir, très original ! L’écran géant, c’est génial, il serait peut-être possible d’y installer un lecteur usb ou dvd pour pouvoir profiter d’un film préféré 🙂 Le chalet est très bien équipé et propre, pas de vis-à-vis, la terrasse doit être super agréable quand il y a un rayon de soleil (une autre fois peut-être). Habitués d’aller à Rochehaut, nous ne regrettons absolument pas d’avoir changé nos habitudes au niveau du logement, une belle découverte. Encore merci pour la petite attention à l’arrivée.

Rien à signaler Juste quelques pistes d’amélioration, comme arranger le jardin sur la partie arrière, changer le portail d’entrée 😉

Heel fijn

De ligging, een paar minuten lopen van horeca en winkeltjes en toch heel rustig gelegen. Met kleine kinderen is dat ideaal. De woning is gezellig en efficiënt ingericht. Wij hebben genoten van de fijne haard en het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk. Hoewel we ze niet gezien hebben stond er een welkomstcadeautje klaar en hebben ze tussendoor nog geïnformeerd of alles in orde was.

Eigenlijk niets, alles voldeed aan onze verwachtingen.

zalig genieten en ideaal met het gezin! wij overwegen om in de zomer terug te gaan

Het huisje is enorm proper en zeer mooi ingericht, de eigenaars zijn heel erg vriendelijk en bezorgd. Zo kreeg ik 's avonds nog berichtjes of we goed waren aangekomen en alles goed gelukt was. Ook was er bij aankomst een leuk briefje en geschenkje voorzien. Een enorme map met daarin top adresjes en uitleg van de streek. Hier gaat niks verloren, als je dit eens doorbladert. De televisie was enorm gesmaakt door onze kindjes :p

Wij gingen helaas in een periode waar veel dingen in verlof waren, zo was de lokale bakkerij gesloten en hadden we de wagen voor alles nodig. De parkeer plaatsen waren niet toegankelijk door de sneeuw. Helaas was door de -11 buiten het huisje wel moeilijk op te warmen. met behulp van de kachel kregen we het naar 20 graden, maar bij aankomst en verwarming die aanlag was het maar 16 graden. Dit was wel wat koud met kindjes. Ook was er kookmateriaal aanwezig, maar absoluut geen grote kommen of genoeg kommen om te kunnen koken met 6 personen. buiten dat was alles echt perfect!
