Not the hospitality we expected
The house is big and looks like a museum. Design is alright. There is a little supermarket in the area which is convenient. The beds were comfortable.
The owners attitude at the departure destroyed all the good mood we had. The checkout time was at 13h sharp and the owner was not even 1 min flexible about it. She simply opened the back door at 13.01 literally and came in with 2 other people making a lot of noice and asking if we were ready to leave. She said that the kitchen had to be in order with all the dishes on their place despite 55€ for cleaning that were included in the booking. She started shouting and said that we were emotionally harassing her when we refused to do so. Then a man (I guess the husband) intervened and said that we were little intelligent and did not take care about the house like it was expected from us due to some contract we did not even sign. She continued repeating how much she was disappointed in our attitude up until we finally left. So, the long story short: the terrace has no light in the afternoon so as the kitchen, bbq grill is terribly dirty and cannot be used, the kitchen appliances are scarce and old, there are lots of empty drawers in the kitchen so good luck finding things. The piano is not operational at all, no heating or hot water after 20h. Make your own conclusions.

Belle maison pour un we en famille ou entre amis
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Sarah qui nous a fait visiter la maison. Beaux espaces dans la maison décorée avec soin et originalité. Le poêle à bois et le billard ont été bien appréciés.
Peut-être les bancs plutôt que des chaises à table.

Prachtig huis! Super lieve gastvrouw. Wij waren met 7 gasten en hebben de tijd van ons leven gehad. Voor iedereen wat wils. Gezellige living, goede zetel, zalige keuken! Een dikke aanrader!

Mooie uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in natuurpark Semois.
Een mooi ingericht groot huis, met grote en handige keuken. De 'speelkamer' met o.a. pooltafel en dartsbord zijn een plus. De kamers en badkamers zijn heel ruim en proper. De houtkachel zorgt voor gezellige avonden.
Je moet je bewust zijn dat het een (groot) rijhuis in een klein dorp is. Je moet dus rekening houden met de buren.
