Ta' Salvu u Marija

La maison, authentiquement gozitaine, est très bien située sur l'île, dans une rue calme, non loin de la jolie baie de Xlendi. La piscine est très agréable également et une terrasse en haut de la maison permet de profiter d'une belle vue sur les collines préservées de Gozo. Les hôtes, Maryanne et son fils, étaient disponibles si besoin et très réactifs !

Certains équipements pourraient être améliorés mais globalement, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans la maison et reviendrons avec plaisir.

I'd like to start by saying that I'm writing this review to provide constructive feedback, not to criticise the owners or the farmhouse. The farmhouse itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential. With a few small improvements and minor investments, it could easily become an exceptional place to stay. The property is located in a very quiet area and maintains a traditional Gozitan charm with its exposed stone walls and original Maltese tiles. The pool was spacious enough for six people to enjoy comfortably, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking. The rooftop BBQ is in a great sheltered spot—we were able to use it on two windy evenings without any issues. The rooftop also offers lovely valley views, especially at sunset. There's a convenience shop within walking distance, which was very handy. Finally, the owners were friendly, flexible with check-in and check-out times, and always quick to respond to any questions.

One bathroom is shared between a double room and a single room, which wasn't a problem for us, but it was very small and didn't leave much room to move around or shower comfortably. The ground-floor shower has no step or divider, so water easily spills into the rest of the bathroom and can even reach the living room. The mattresses were also quite thin and outdated—you could feel the springs, which made sleeping uncomfortable for some of our group. Finally, the water pressure throughout the farmhouse was very low. Showers took much longer than expected, and the toilets often required three or four flush attempts. One toilet, in particular, sometimes didn't flush properly due to the low water pressure.
