If I was being pedantic I’d say the driveway is a bit too narrow with the planters on the left hand side. But I do have a large car, so thats not really fair.

Ok but not great

The bedroom and bed were big and comfortable. The shower was hot. There was a driveway to park on.

The house was cold and the thermostat in the living room didn't work the heating, it wasn't until the next morning that I managed to get the heating to come on, by turning the boiler on in a cupboard upstairs. Although two radiators, one in the living room and the one in the bedroom stayed cold as they needed bleeding and we didn't have a key. There was no toilet roll, I didn't realise we had to bring our own. The bathroom window didn't close properly leaving a gap that caused a draught. The only cutlery there was some spoons, knives and one teaspoon. No forks. There was nowhere to hang coats to dry when you come in they just had to lay on the floor. The house could be a little gem with a little extra thought put into it.

Avoid this at all costs. When we first got there it seemed really nice. We went to go to bed and realised there was a massive problem with the bed, impossible to sleep on. Me, my partner and baby had to sleep downstairs on the couch. I messaged Sadie about this who seemed to have no idea about this but would order a new bed straight away. She asked us to check under the mattress which we did and the base it all broken, and the mattress springs are severely separated. When I checked the reviews there’s reviews stating this all the way back to October 2024! So they are obviously aware of these issues - one of the reviews stating the Sadie refuses to fix problems that guests tell her about. The second night we decided to leave as it wasn’t safe for my little one to sleep in that bed, the couch or his pram. Once I told Sadie this she stated she asked the cleaner a number of times to check this and took her word for it and that she’d contact the owner and get back to me. I got back to her the next day and her tone had completely changed, very rude and blunt. Nothing was taken i feel seriously, or a matter of urgency. Still hadn’t heard an outcome on Tuesday so I sent a message saying if I don’t hear from her by 12 that I was going to just go through the bank. This was apparently a threat and also made a comment about this only being £60 a night. Insinuating this is okay to have a bed that’s impossible to sleep on because of the price and telling me that the bank won’t do anything and I can’t made a dispute because it’s booking.com. Sadie thought it was then appropriate to send me messages with other “guests” which was her asking them how they slept and they said they slept well. This is bizarre to me considering she’s texting them in a very different way/tone than she’s spoke to me from the very first message I sent, and it’s to again insinuate that im lying over the situation!

What a shame

Nice place. Easy for bus to Newcastle. Not far from local shops and supermarket.

No lights working in living room. Short on curtains or blinds for night time. Kitchen cuboards and freezer had old food still in. Short on items. Pans, plates and glasses etc... all needed a good wash before able to use. Oven was full of grease and needs a good clean. Bathroom window unable to close, door sticks so hard to close and open. Main issue was that shower cold tap did not work so after a few minutes the water was so hot it would scald you. No toilet roll holder or anything to hang a towel on, towels were clearly old as had threads pulled in them. Bedroom floorboards made a noise wherever you walked in the room, bed was queen size but clearly on the old side as matress uneven and bedstead looked bowed. Lot of tlc and minor repairs needed.

A pleasant stay

Very clean and a very decent place in a good location.

No blinds in a few windows especially upstairs on the landing which wasn’t great when getting to the bathroom. No mirror in bathroom. Would have been nice to have had a carton of milk for a cup of tea when we arrived after a long journey rather than the bread and other bits of food.

There is a light bulb missing in the living room main light and for privacy it would be nice to have blinds for the kitchen and hall at the top of the stairs - this would give better privacy when leaving the bathroom!

We cut our stay in half as another night would have been unbearable.

Self contained

The bed was awful to sleep on! When you go on the bed it sinks and you feel like you’re on a bouncy castle. The pillows were horrible, flat and very old. I couldn’t get any sleep at all. The sofa is so old and worn it was also impossible to get comfy on. To top of our shortened stay, there were no amenities in the house, we couldn’t even go to the bathroom through lack of toilet paper and the “towel provided” was basically a hand towel and therefore struggled to do its job of drying a human body.

Excellent location and great value for money

Perfect for a short break in Northeast England. Lots of options for eating close by and a choice of shops for groceries. We were able to bring our dog with us and there were areas to walk him right by the property. The private driveway meant we could park with no hassle

Quiet Retreat.

The location was great, easy to get to things and quiet. Had most of what was needed.

No toilet paper on arrival or hand gel. Needed a dossier with helpful information such as hot water & heating instructions, washing machine instructions, Wi-Fi details, etc. The bathroom could have had roll holder and towel rails available.

Holiday home in Cramlington

The location for what we needed was ideal and it was easy to find. A bonus was the off street parking and the outside courtyard/ garden which was ideal as we had our dog with us. In a quiet residential area. Large bedroom and the bathroom has a great shower.

The divan base to the bed is completely broken which meant the mattress sags down into it. Clearly known about as was filled with pillows to boost it up - this doesn’t work. Ended up sleeping at the other end of the bed and due to this we decided to leave after two nights rather than stay our last night as we just couldn’t sleep well. To be picky, it would have been nice to have had toilet roll left and a bin liner for the bin. Fridge still had left over items in from previous guests which wasn’t great! Overall, needs a little TLC but expected for a holiday home. A few of the windows could do with some blinds for more privacy from the overlooking houses.

Great little find

Great little find, in a lovely quiet estate. Close to amenities (shopping centre, train station). Everything you need for a short stay. Great value too.

There are a few bits of finishing touches that are needed but nothing major, just a lick of paint here and there. Maybe have a welcome sheet to let customers know where things are and how things work.

Need a new bed!

Lovely little house, ice modern bathroom. Fully fitted kitchen and on-aite parking.

The bed needs replacing! The mattress is totally shit and the base the same, ended up sleeping on the sofa it was that bad. Main light in front room not working, and the creaky floors in the bedroom mean you can't sneak out to the toilet.

The house was clean, spacious, and well decorated. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The area itself has all the amenities you need and was very quiet. There are many places to visit all within a short drive and the roads are pretty much free flowing

The shower took a while to navigate to temperature due to the cold tap being difficult to adjust. Minor fault and soon got hang of it though

Brilliant Cozy House, 30mins from city centre, great value for money 👍🏾

Really liked the size of the house, very cosy, clean and spacious (not too big or not too small) very nicely decorated, two modern TV's, refurbished bathroom with rain fall shower head, massive bed, nice sized sofa, decent sized kitchen with extras supplied, brand new microwave, fridge and cooker, very easy to get access too keys to leave and arrive when wanted, nice little drive to park car off street and very friendly host via messaging.

Heating controls were broke, unable to set temperature, stayed at 28 in evening and 24 in the morning, boiler unable to communicate to unit in living room. Hard to set temperature correctly using the shower and oven could do with a good deep clean.

The bed was amazing, the biggest bed I have ever slept in !

Not a good start to our holiday, arriving after a 6 hour very hot journey to find no keys in the key safe ! Then after contacting the agent only to find the cleaner had gone off with the key ! Well sitting on the drive in the heat for another 1hr & 1/2 was not what we wanted, we were promised a refund but this has not happened , could be such a nice place but let down by cleaners & maintenance, just be prepared to bring own loo rolls , toiletries, tea bags etc

Good sized property, convenient location

Ideal location for me, you can park outside, good shopping in Cramlington, short drive to several beaches.

This property needs some TLC. Firstly, there is no lighting outside, there is a street lamp further up the street, but the light is blocked by neighbours hedges. It is exceptionally dark at night, you cannot see driveway, lock or step at front door. Kitchen & upstairs hall window have no blinds, you have no privacy, self adhesive frosted panels would help. Lock on kitchen window does not lock, security compromised. Oven in kitchen is filthy, overwhelming smell of fat & grease. Paintwork upstairs chipped, guests have been hitting paintwork with cases. Bathroom window does not open. Shower screen trim coming away, bathroom floor gets wet. Bedroom carpet marked. Porcelain cat light pull, ears have broken off, so it has sharp edges, I cut 2 fingers on it. I also had an issue with tv, telephone listed is no longer a registered phone number. I had to message Sadie 3 times before she made contact.

Downstairs radiator needs attention as did not get warm and covered by sofa. House very cold on arrival and sofa bed was in the lounge and occupant of sofa bed was cold all night as radiator didn't heat the room.

The bathroom was nicely decorated everywhere Grey and white.

The freezer had occupants food in it .food left in cupboards.Oven well don't even go there it was absolutely disgusting dirty.kitchen cupboards were no finished off didn't cook on the cooker at all.paint work on window sill front room chiped black marks everywhere.sofas far to low for anyone to get up help needed Dog hairs on cushions on the back.verh bad garden weeds everywhere and a smell by the drain in back garden.Household bins full had to push rubbish down which wasn't pleasant.No carbondixideĺ alarm which is the law to install one.bathroom know on right hand side kept falling off.All wi down latches were wobbly.We have come to the conclusion that the occupants moved out just to earn some money.

Well situated on a very quiet estate, within easy walking distance to bus stops and shops. Driveway for safe parking of our motorbike. Bed was really comfortable and shower was really good.

The price reflects the property which was compact but perfectly comfortable for a couple

Dedicated parking on drive. Outside area being dog friendly and escape proof with lots of grassy areas on the doorsep to excercise our dog. Wifi was good. The size of the bed was exeptional.

No dedicted area to eat - a couple of lap trays would be useful, as would a microwave.

The location was ideal for the purpose of my trip. The addition of hand towels & WI-FI ideal. Parking right outside of property.

The lack of a functioning key safe. I had to ring the owner, who was insisting that no-one else had had problems with the key safe, she then mentioned that it had recently taken the cleaner 10minutes to get the key safe to open. I had to wait for the owner to come with spare keys so I could get into property. I wasn’t exactly happy, I had had 3 hours sleep in the past 24hours, due to work & travel commitments. I had a schedule that I needed to adhere to, so the inconvenience of not meeting my prearranged timetable wasn’t appreciated. When I returned to the property later that afternoon, the key safe had been completely removed, clearly it wasn’t working, & not my lack of ability to open it as implied when I contacted the owner earlier.

clean and comfortable but could be improved.

the location was perfect for us and I assume would be very handy for the airport. the area was quiet and there was plenty dog walking space. the house is clean, cozy and comfortable for 2 people. The fridge/freezer size was great because we need freezer space for dog food. Bed is huge and comfortable. Lots of takeaway options in the area too.

On arrival there was only half a toilet roll, a handful of tea bags and less than a quarter jar of coffee. maybe it is just me but every other place I have stayed has had more than enough of these things so I did expect there to be more. There are no blinds on the kitchen window or the stair windows, it just makes it feel less private, especially the top stair window as it is direct in to the bedroom if the door is open. The fridge stunk like it hadn’t been opened in a long time, every time we opened it the smell lingered for a while.
