I couldn’t rate this apartment high enough, 2 minute walk from the centre of carcassonne, beside all the shops and a 5 minute walk from the train station. Apartment was very tidy and quiet and the host was excellent!
Two of the doorframes were slightly smaller so careful if you are particularly tall, but not a particularly bad problem

The location was brilliant. Room was of very French character, which was ideal for travelling Brits The building is a living piece of history
The steps are a challenge, but that is made clear when booking.
