Apartment Paola

This was a high spec apartment with beautiful bed and bed linen and a sweet terrace at the front that afforded shade from the sweet garden and privacy. The hostess was lovely, too! The local supermarket (very good selection of food) was a short steepish climb of only 2 minutes. The almost level path around the coast was a short walk downhill and very lovely indeed, Even we managed without much effort (very late 70's) into Opatija and towards Lovran (very Italian in feel) and caught the 32 Bus back but in Volosko, as you return, get off at second stop to save yourself a longer walk. Lovely evenings can be spent in Volosko which is the northern end of Opatija with some lovely food. Just check opening times.

We had the best time at apartment Paola and Gordana, the host is the nicest! She made us the most delicious pancakes. The apartment is amazingly comfortable, super spacious and impeccably clean. It is fully equipped with everything one needs for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped in case you want to prepare some meals, including a dishwasher, and it had a great espresso machine. The beds were super comfortable and big. The second bathroom is a great plus, if you travel with your family. The location is great, close to a big supermarket and in walking distance from the sea and city center. The best part was that we were able to also bring our dog.
