We had a great time in a fabulous property

This was a last minute booking as we were meant to be staying somewhere else, only to find that property to be filthy and not somewhere we wanted to stay. We were very grateful to find Beach Break Aberavon available at such short notice and delighted to find such a beautifully presented property on arrival The hosts have put an awful lot of thought and care into their offering and we would definitely bookmark this property for future trips and recommend it to others It's right next to the beach too, so a great location.

There really isn't anything not to like to be honest. If I was being super picky, perhaps an additional hand towel to go with the bath towel, but we bathed on day one and hung up the towel over the radiator to use next day and it was fine Could be wrong, but I don't remember seeing an airer where you could hang wet clothes after visiting the beach, but there is a really useful utility area where you could take your sandy shoes off so you don't walk it through the house etc, Clutching at straws here, it's a fab property :)

Proximity to beach

Tired, dilapidated, dirty , terrible fit and finish , little communication from host, no welcome pack/ contacts/ places to visit and eat, door with broken locks , 2 of of 3 toilet seats hanging off, furniture very uncomfortable,beds were fine except master bed ( very worn) everything creaked and groaned drawers hanging out dangerous mats on landing hiding stained carpet and the front entrance way has a rusty door broken meter cupboard and only parking for one car … no book of do’s and dont’s so no idea how to leave the bedding/ towels on checkout it’s right on a very noisy roundabout and the pub across the road is extremely rowdy till 11.30

Amazing stay!

Close to the beach! Literally a stones throw away. The house is extremely clean and very comfortable! The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The extra touches like toys and the pool table were perfect. Lots of space for a family visit we were so sad to leave!

Beautiful beachside house with everything you need.

Great facilities, even had a flask to take to the beach. Lots of surf boards and toys in the garage for the little ones. Comfy sofas and decor was lovely throughout.

Would be great if they had an ikea high chair stored in garage.

Because it was over three floors there was a lot of stairs to climb. But it’s ok we didn’t really mind 😊

Certain things could have been cleaner. Kitchen surfaces, dishes, placemats. In one of the bedrooms the pillows were smelly, bed linen clean but pillows musty.

Great Location, house way bigger than expected which was perfect for our 2 family's together! Toys already in the house for kids to play with was a bonus and also having stairgates as we had a baby was a lovely touch!

it was 2 nights in a very clean comfortable house with all comforts catered for

the property was clean and well equipped, a short walk from the beach, which was a lovely sandy beach with a good promenade

the only negative was the size of the bed. my husband struggled at 5’10 with the bed frame. (it was a shame we lost the outside space to sit and have a morning coffee, due to a car knocking down the wall the night before, unforeseen and not the fault of the owner)

Lovely house in a good location

Really good sized house with good sized rooms, lovely lounge and decor. Beautiful beach a very short walk away, and the restaurant opposite had gorgeous food, friendly staff and a really good singer performing on the night we went in

key box was hard to operate and not enough bedding was left out for the size of our group, but the bedding was there so no major problem.

The accommodation had a home from home feel, with everything and more provided, from towels to toys for children. Communication from the owner was first class and friendly. Perfect location from which to tour the cites. 🥰
