Great spacious central apartment

Fantastic location. Nice and quiet. Easy to find. Loved having the lift.

No basic cooking ingredients like salt, pepper, oil so we didn’t bother. No microwave. Only got sent the registration form the day before and had to sign a document outlining all the costs if something was missing, dirty, broken. So over the top.

Clean and central, bed was disappointing

The location was great and the room was clean.

However, I didn’t know the main bed was just a sofa bed with an uncomfortable mattress, so we had to sleep in the small single bed in the kids’ room. The apartment was also quite dark.

We don't recommend staying here

Great location!

Check in was super complicated, because we got a link at first that we couldn't open on any of our mobile devices. We tried for several hours until they send one that worked. Table wasn't clean, air con seemed old and elevators were both broken. But the worst part was the constant noise from the room next door. Both rooms are just separated by a door, which is zero isolated. So when there is even a whisper next door, we were able to hear it crystal clear. And with an at least 4-heads box family next door, it was only quiet when they were sleeping or out.

Great, quiet, clean accomodation. Good location.

Great location, although we had to walk from the train station (15 minutes or so). The location was near a bus stop for several lines and near some of the historic sites. There were tons of stores selling cheap clothes and wares, and there were plenty of small grocery shops around. Very easy and smooth access. Great communication from hosts. There was someone from the staff in the building, which was helpful for any questions. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very spacious apartment. The elevator was amazing for my parents painful knees. The kitchen was well equipped in general. The washing machine worked very well, although no detergent was provided. The place seems to be cleaned professionally, and it showed, especially in the bathrooms and showers. Toiletries were provided. There was a small balcony. The place was quiet. The wifi was great.

A place to store bags at the hotel would be very helpful. We wasted three hours sitting in the plaza in front of the train station, or walking around town waiting for the 3 pm check in time so we could access the place. Yes, I did get into a baggage deposit about a block away from the train station, however, there were no in-and-out privileges, and once you open the locker door to get something you may need, you are done and have to book the locker again if you need more time. The baggage deposits at the trains station are a total scam (overpriced). For such a well-thought accomodation, the bathroom was lacking a thing to place shampoo and soap in the shower. We had to put things on the floor...

A lovely old building close to everything in Trieste town with a nice modern self contained rooms.

I loved the building this was in, the room was on the top floor and was very spacious with a little dining table and a kitchenette with a hotplate and utensils. The bathroom was large with a washing machine. Very cute toiletries provided. It was a quick walk to everything in Trieste - the waterfront, the canal and the railway station (about 10-15 minutes away). I would stay there again.

Excellent stay in Trieste and the apartment was a haven for resting after busy days in the heat.

The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. We did not meet any hosts, but communications were clear and comprehensive - and helpful!

I struggle to think of anything - maybe a shelf in the shower - somewhere to stow hair shampoo, etc.

Domo Stay

The property could not have been in a better location. Everything was within a 15 minute walk including the train station. The apartment was well appointed and very clean on arrival. The bed was comfortable and the linen of excellent quality. There was a bag with a shampoo, body wash, moisturiser and a shower cap provided for each person which is enough for 4-5 days. One set of hand towel and bath towel was provided per person. There is an espresso machine with coffee pods provided for one drink each with a charge of 80 cents if more are needed. As there were numerous excellent coffee shops a few steps away with an espresso for a euro this was not needed. One small water bottle was provided but the tap water is potable.

We were booked for 7 nights, but no complimentary cleaning for a stay that long was provided. Most apartments will provide a clean free of charge if the stay is longer than 3-4 days but that is not the case here. There is a charge of 20-30 euros ( not sure of the exact amount but I am sure it’s somewhere in the fine print ). I found this a bit objectionable for a 7 night stay! I have never had this experience anywhere else in Europe for a long stay. Also we had to call to ask for extra towels after day 3 which were delivered free of charge but one had to know that this was the provision. Also our friends travelling with us and staying in another Domo apartment had their AC switched off on arrival and as it was after 6pm the emergency contact came in and could not do anything resulting in them losing a nights sleep. There is no way to contact anyone from the admin out of hours. Clearly a non functioning AC is not a priority. And in the morning it was just a flick of a central switch that was needed but the emergency person could not do anything at all about it. So while it’s an excellent place to stay, perhaps they do need to work on a few things, which might appear minor for some but not for others.

Lovely apartment in a great location

The apartment was in a great location right in the centre of town. There was lots of space, a good shower and the bed was comfortable. All communications with the staff regarding check in and leaving of our luggage after our stay were easy and quick over the messaging app.

We asked for an iron and ironing board as one was not provided but this arrived very quickly.

Wonderful apartment in eìxcellent location

The apartment was spacious and was an excellent location. The bathroom is big, and our sink was separate, which was helpful. The kitchen was simple, and the couch was comfortable.

The street lights flooded into the bedroom, and so there was a lot of light during the night. There was also no microwave, ķmwhich would have been handy.

Large, beautiful apartment convenient to cruise terminals, train station and Trieste’s main attractions

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. it was in a great location, very close to a number of sites we wanted to visit. Since we were returning from a cruise, it was a good halfway point between the cruise terminal and the train station. We were able to leave our suitcases in the office and explore Trieste while we were waiting for the room to be ready. The office staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The bedroom curtains didn’t block all of the light from the streets at night. The shower in our room (although it was large and comfortable) would benefit from a soap holder or something to put the shampoo bottles/body wash bottles on.
