Cosy like home with all the appliances from washing machine to dish washer to an oven. The water balloon is in the bathroom so the warm water can come faster and therefore we reduce wasting the running water.
Unfortunately the heat wave this summer. The room underneath the roof is too hot even with a air blower. Be careful of the stair. Not suitable for younger kids or the older couple.

Comfortable stay with everything you may need
- a modern, spacious and well-equipped apartment, where you can find pretty much everything you need. Notably great were the washer, dryer and dish washer, all well-functioning. Detergents, basic seasoning, additional covering and other small attentions to details were also much appreciated. - very close to the train station, easy access to the centre of Tourcoing (on foot) as well as all touristic attractions in the area (by car). A Carrefour City a few blocks away was a blessing. - parking inside the premises was practical and so was a shared patio but it was raining most of our stay and we were not able to benefit from the latter.
- nothing really(!), but some people may find helpful to know: 1) from the entrance of the building to the apartment, you need to go up some 15 steps x 2 without lifts. This may be difficult for those mobility-challenged or with big suitcases. 2) the covered parking is great but there are lots of pillars inside and if you are not confident with maneuvering your vehicle (e.g. car rental), going in and out of the parking can be tricky. 3) the upstairs floor squeaks a bit so those who sleep in the bedroom below would hear all the movements upstairs. The door to the lower floor bedroom does not close easily, so if you are sensitive to noises, you may want to bring ear plugs ;-) 4) if you wish to watch stuff on your laptop on the big screen, don't forget to bring a cable to connect to the TV.
