The cottage was in a idilic area and had a truly rustic feel to it.

Nothing had a really calming few days.

Lovely cottage lots of character

A delightful cottage, ideally positioned to visit a variety of places. It was very well and very comfortably furnished and there was nothing we needed to ask for. The hosts, Mary and Richard were very friendly and helpful and keen to offer advice and they share their beautiful large garden with their guests.

My only complaint is nothing to do with the cottage or the hosts but with their agent Sykes Cottages, who are appalling to communicate with. My tip would be deal directly with Mary and Richard so you actually get a relevant response and not just a repeat of the Sykes booking blurb when you ask a question.

Great hosts. Comfortable cottage within a lovely village. The 2 acre garden was a wonderful bonus. The dog loved it. And so did we. There were garden chairs and tables dotted about in sunny and shady spots. There is a shaded area with large table and chairs so you can eat outside when the sun shines. Excellent parking spot next to the cottage. The hosts were always available to help. They were very generous with their time and advice.

The hosts could have left leaflets of the local area, things to do, recommendations etc. A map of the area would be useful. This did have quite a lot of I formation in their comprehensive booklet about their house.
