We stayed as a large group of 14 over the weekend and the house was perfect for us — plenty of space for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The whole place had a wonderfully homely atmosphere, making it feel like a warm and welcoming family home. The host’s communication was excellent, with clear check-in instructions that made everything smooth.
A thoughtful touch was the selection of basics left for us on arrival: bread, milk, coffee, tea, and more. The property was also beautifully decorated for Christmas inside, adding to the festive feel for our 16-year-old’s birthday weekend. We also enjoyed a trip to Lyme Regis for a coastal walk and fish and chips on the beach.
The kitchen was well equipped, but it would be even better with a few additional large serving bowls or platters.
