Deluxe Apartment - Tamerlan Residence

This was perhaps the best apartment I have ever stayed at!! It looked brand new, it´s very spacious with fantastic, almost romantic lighting, beautiful interior decor, a very well equipped kitchen (it even had a dishwasher!!) and bathroom (with a second separate toilet and washing machine). The bed was very comfortable and the power shower was pleasant after a sweaty day outside. Great view from the window! It was easy to find for all the taxi drivers. Nice cafe with excellent coffee inside the living complex. Very friendly and helpful people in the neighborhood. Easy, pleasant and straightforward communication with the host in English. Since the apartment is quite big, the aircondition had some effort to cool it down - with nearly 40 degrees outside temperatures it was just okay inside. One thing I haven´t quite understood about apartments in Kazakhstan: Hosts require you to remove the laundry of previous guests if you want to use the laundry rack. I find this practice very weird (because obviously I don´t want to work during my holidays) but maybe that´s just a local custom :) In any case, I highly recommend this apartment - it´s excellent value for money and - living in Switzerland - I can say that it lives up to Swiss standards! Very spacious, clean, nice new building, playground for the kids. Communication was easy via whatsapp, we could pay cash and they helped us to print train tickets.

Not a big deal but a kitchen towel etc for the kitchen en for cooking would be handy.

Very much clean and cozy with every item of hospitality provided. And the person in charge is a great remote manager which makings all the details to comfort the visitors. Bravo Bravissimo
