Hydra Hospitality Port Apartment

Amazing location and beautiful artwork in a beautiful space. Unique and fun.

Needed stronger focus on actual amenities - bathroom was sloppy and not well appointed, kitchen appliances did not work. Super beautiful space but it lacked on the livability. I would still book again, though!

The host was very responsive. The apartment itself was large and unique and picturesque. Amazing location right in the heart of the port with marvelous views.

For the price and the space, location and unique layout and architecture, it was not very well appointed. Furnishings were a bit cheap, there were just no personal touches, relatively bare bones with no closets, dressers for clothes and kitchen supplies were more or less odds and ends. There were no instructions left for washer/dryer and stove which were not in English and not intuitive, had to call host several times to figure out hot water and electricity.

Gorgeous! Cool! Wonderful stay! Perfect location literally overlooking the port in an amazing renovated space! The apartment is exceptional — feels like a NYC loft or art gallery in one of Greece’s most picturesque islands with a 10/10 view! Had zero issues or problems with the stairs, or finding the apt & key as others noted. Instructions were very clear. The apartment is a great value, especially if you have pets and want a chic & comfortable place to spend time in gorgeous Hydra.

My only issue was feeling stressed prior to arriving due to iffy communication with the host. It would be so easy for them to send an automatic, quick email right after booking, as other places do, just saying “thanks for your booking. We will provide details for your arrival, location, WiFi and check-in/out the day before your stay.” As someone who likes to plan a bit, especially when staying in a private apt not a hotel, I felt a bit panicked after writing via booking & WhatsApp and not receiving ANY response for days. I finally called the number and received a message back confirming more details would be coming. But I only received check-in details at 22:30 the night before I was set to arrive. Once we did finally connect, communication was fine. I also had to contact the host again about WiFi after arriving, which I learned is available by scanning the QR code under the WiFi box next to the TV.
