STUNNING RIGHT ON THE PORT WITH INCREDIBLE VIEWS

WE LIKED EVERYTHING

The house was in excellent condition, totally renovated with some traditional elements in the decoration. The location is amazing and nothing can beat it. The best coffee I had probably in my life was sitting at its window with a book in the morning enjoying the spectacular view! The market is the building next to the house, very convenient. It was also very cool during the day, very appreciated in the hot greek summer. The host helped me find the house on the first day when I failed. Also, I should point out that I valued A LOT some basic products that existed in the house, like bottles of water (the bottle in the fridge was very appreciated when we arrived), ice, chamomile, some spices, cleaning products in case you needed them and a couple of other things that I no longer remember. The fact that our dog was welcome contributed a lot to get us to choose this house.

The owner should do something for the first 3 steps up the property. They are so slippery, it's ike walking on ice. I slipped and fell and got quite bruised on the first day. The rest of the steps up are fine. Just rough them up, its cant be so hard. We all removed our shoes up and down the steps after my fall. There is also some noise from people walking around the port at every hour of day and night but it was only a minor disturbance.

Amazing location in the centre of Hydra Port where all the bars, restaurants, shops and cafés are. It's a 3 - 5 min walk from the ferry terminal. Lightly cobbled stone streets may affect wheeled luggage. To access the apartment there are about 13 deep stairs with hand rails. It's next to an AB Shop & Go mini market which is super handy. Despite the central location it was quiet on the weekend in May we were there. The moment we walked inside our first impression was "Wow!" The view is GREAT! Wonderful panorama of the harbour and surrounds. The decor is pleasing and modern. Inside it's spacious and the layout is well thought out. Appreciated the powerpoints on each side of the bed, the full length mirror, the lighting was fantastic and could be operated from the bedside too. Didn't cook so can't comment on those facilities but loved the good sized fridge with freezer (to store ice cream!). The bed and pillows were SUPER comfortable. The air conditioner covered the entire apartment well. The sofas were comfortable and plentiful. The smart TV worked well and had good internet connection. The bathroom was spacious. The hot water and shower pressure was good. The floor of the shower can get slippery so exercise caution. The towels were plush, good quality.

Liked everything! Just need some caution with the floor of the shower basin as it can feel slippery when wet.
