I did not like the fact I had to pay for a car park (£10) I did the cheek in around 10 pm and checked out around 8:30 am . The room was nothing special, very basic.

I always enjoy my stays at The Grove Hotel. Its tranquil, peaceful and has a lovely conservatory. The staff are aways helpful and friendly.

A lovely hotel, simple and clean

It was immaculate. Such a lovely surprise to find an historic hotel right in the middle of town. I loved the pine trees in the garden. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent staff. Great to have a bar and pool table!

Nescafé sachets in the rooms are just awful. I love a morning coffee but wouldn’t drink that. No hairdryer in the room, and the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work, despite me being shown the switch, then putting into ‘on’. The bed was quite short, which I wasn’t expecting. The mattress isn’t flat, and sagged on the right hand side of the bed. (Rm 29)

Excellent hotel. Well worth a visit

Pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the time we arrived until we checked out. We'd requested a quiet room, which it was. Clean, comfortable with modern facilities and a lovely bathroom. The reception and bar were available 24hours. Lovely breakfast. Five minutes walk to Bournemouth Pavilion. I'd thoroughly recommend a stay at The Grove. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be making a return visit.

We were very impressed with this Hotel. The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and we were not rushed. They even offered to store our cases after we had checked out, while we went into town to save us having to take them with us.

Hotel was ok, but lacked basic expected facilities.

Bed comfortable. It was clean enough. Shower was decent power. Reception staff friendly.

No breakfast available even though it was referenced on here as a British or Irish breakfast option available. I would not have booked this hotel if I’d known there was no breakfast option. Also location was up a dark side street. Didn’t feel great from a safety perspective.

The staff and especially Roberto, were lovely. Helpful, friendly and everything you could wish. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very good.

A happy third visit to The Grove hotel.

This was our third time staying at The Grove, which tells its own story. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden. The lounge and bar were good to relax in, and we enjoyed playing pool, too. It's a really nice hotel with plenty of space to spread out.

Amazing location as it’s so close to the BIC, town and the seafront

Parking- was advised it was limited so when found no space out front and double yellows so paid £22 to park down the road only to discover when we checked it that there were more spaces round the back. This would have been good to know beforehand

Didn't take the breakfast because don't eat cooked breakfast. Room large and comfortable and our requests about bedding were met. Staff were friendly, helpful with directions and easy to find.

I felt the heating was a bit too high and management could save their energy bills by setting it lower.

If you need just a place to crash it’s okay.

It was a good location

Old and tired. The bathroom in the room was a complete wet room which meant that after a shower the whole bathroom was wet the entire time as the water didn’t drain well so was a real inconvenience having wet feet every time you went in the bathroom. The room had carpet as well which wasn’t a good idea with the completely wet floor from the bathroom. The breakfast was mediocre and not anything better than one you could get at a whetherspoons for much cheaper. There are 6 parking spots which are overpriced at £10 a night.
