Historic period large cottage, with two living rooms and an outdoor terrace in the large garden. Very quiet country location. Very well equipped. Two bathrooms, one upstairs and one down.
Being told we had to take our glass bottles away or we would be charged.

A very lovely cottage with plenty of space. We stayed in February and wanted somewhere close to Wickham Market.

The cottage had lots of character and excellent linen and towels. The garden was very large and full of birds and rabbits. There was plenty of space for a large group of people with two reception rooms and a well stocked kitchen. There was an excellent library of books to choose from.
There were umbrellas provided in the hall.
A bottle of kitchen cleaner would always be useful and it would have been nice to have hair and body wash provided plus a complimentary bottle of milk. Some venues do provide this. Also there was no mention of a hair dryer but I checked beforehand and brought my own.

It’s an old cottage with plenty of character. It could be a fairy tale if it had a little TLC.
It wasn’t clean. So much dust and cobwebs everywhere. Sofas were rather dirty and covered up with blankets (don’t know if they were clean).
The place was cold and the heating was controlled by the owner. We asked for the radiators to be turned on and it wasn’t done until about 6 hours later.
It’s also a shame to be confronted with mouse poison boxes everywhere you look.
