- The private community amenities are available for a fee with tenant cards. There are 8 cards provided, and each tenant card provides access to one individual (ages 3+) per day. The access fee is $30/person/day ages 7+, $10/person/day ages 3-6. Children under 3 do not need a card. There is limited access to amenities for STR guests during peak periods. The private amenities include the Trout Creek Recreational Center, Tahoe Donner Tennis Center, Beach Club Marina, and the Northwoods Pool
- To prioritize Tahoe Donner owner access during the holidays, Short-Term Tenant Card blackouts are being implemented starting January 1, 2026, on the following dates: January 17-19 (MLK Day); February 14-16 (President’s Day); May 23-25 (Memorial Day); July 1-5 (July 4th); September 5-7 (Labor Day); November 26-29 (Thanksgiving); and December 24-January 3, 2027 (Christmas/New Year’s holiday)
- During fire season (August-mid-November), if the air quality is worse than 100 AQI the day before your scheduled visit, you are eligible for a full refund or date transfer

Rebecca’s place was fantastic! Very clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. She gave a lot of great recommendations on places to visit. We did have a couple of hiccups but nothing to write home about. It was taken care of right away. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed at this home for Christmas and it was the best experience ever! This home was so beautiful , it was nice and clean when we arrived and had the perfect amount of rooms and beds for our party of 7. We had 2 kids with us so the game room was a big plus ! even for us adults. Rebecca was so helpful and kind ! She was super fast with answering any questions that we had even during the holidays ! It unexpectedly snowed during Christmas and it made the holidays even better for us ! 10/10 experience ! Thank you Rebecca ! Will definitely be coming back !

Good for a big group who doesn’t care much about the house. This house needs major upgrades in rugs, linens, furniture. Everything was worn out and very dated. You get to the downstairs room through a dirty garage. The downstairs smells like alcohol. The master bed mattress is worn out and sags on both sides. The driveway is really steep and when icy, there’s a danger of slipping into the posts holding up the deck. No gas or wood fireplace.

Our family of 5 had a great time at this mountain house. There was plenty of room, it was well appointed. The kitchen met all of our needs. We did get a little bit of snow and our rental car with all-wheel tires had a hard time getting out the steep driveway. 4x4 or snow tires are a necessity when the weather calls for even a dusting. .

2024 is the 3rd year we have rented this home for a September fall golf outing. Location, cleanliness and value along with a great kitchen and thoughtful, comfortable furnishings make our group repeat guests. We are already looking forward to next year. 5 stars, no hesitation.

Great place with plenty of space and add’l game room and complete extra family area downstairs. There were only two of us this time, but would definitely book again if we have a big group. There was small glitch when checking in, the access code didn’t work, but Rebecca was extremely responsive and had an additional access area so we were able to get in and with an early check in. There also no paper towels or extra toilet paper but she had a cleaner there within an hour with more supplies. Thanks again for the stay!

We were so incredibly happy with this house! It had everything we needed and then some! We stayed during Thanksgiving week, so I was vey happy that the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and baking sheets. I loved the coffee bar, the open cabinets and plenty of counter space. The highlight of the house, especially for our teens, was the downstairs game room! They loved playing Pop A Shot basketball and my husband and I had some fierce competition on Ms PacMan. We enjoyed daily walks around the neighborhood and felt we were just a short drive from Truckee shopping and restaurants. I would def recommend this house for a family!

The surprise room on the basement was the big hit for our kids! The room had some arcade games! They had everything (except cooking oil) so we were able to cook a lot. It’s super close to Tahoe Donner. Thanks for making our trip extra fun!

If we could go back to this house every time we went to Tahoe I would! It was so cute and cozy. So much room for several people. The management company was amazing, communicating anytime we needed something, and even reaching out ahead of time to tell us arrival information. We had everything we needed, and tons of room to do different activities. Loved it!

Place was large and very usable. Great for entertaining and large parties. There were only 4 of us but would accommodate 8 people comfortably. The kitchen space was nice and open to the family room. The toughest part I could say about this property is that we had screen holes and since there is no A/C since it generally isn't needed in Truckee, we happened to be there during the hottest time of the year and left windows open at night. Bugs entered and left me with a frightened teenager (18 daughter). The other thing is the driveway is very steep so snow season could provide difficult parking issues but no issues for us in the summer. The best thing about the stay and the place was the attentiveness of Rebecca, our host. She was amazing and responsive. Not only responsive but she left a bottle of wine for us and checked in on us by calling to make sure all was going well. I am certain my screen issue will be handled because of how diligent she was in making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a great vacation, Chris

Great place. Lots of room. All good working appliances, pop corn popper and nice deck. Quiet location. Can walk in neighborhoods behind home. Be careful if you have a small dog, do not allow off leash given coyotes in area. Everyone had a great time. Having access to additional docs we played Frogger and PAC-man!

We loved this place and would stay again, but those with allergy sensitivities should check with owner about detergents being used. My husband had trouble sleeping because of the fragrance in the bedding. Thank goodness he didn't have an asthma attack. The owner said she bought perfumed detergent by mistake (I don't know why she continued to use it), so you might want to check with her if you have issues with fragrances. That being said, the house was comfortable and clean. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating and a large TV. The refrigeration was spotless. The last vacation rental was stocked with all kinds of basic foods for cooking, but be aware that the only consumable here is coffee, so bring everything else you need. We were happy that the game room was made available, which was a bonus. We had a lot of fun with an arcade table (yay, Pacman!) and an arcade basketball. Our dog enjoyed the large open area behind the houses, and she was thrilled to find a patch of snow to play in.

Truly a gem. We really enjoyed this place even though the stairs were a bit exhausting and our poor baby took a tumble down the stairs while I went to find the baby gate :( Aside from that, this place had a fully stocked kitchen with nice stuff. Plenty of linens and towels. My only two qualms were the stairs and the one window in the master bedroom not having a window covering. Aside from that, truly a lovely place!

We loved staying at this beautiful, clean, cozy home that had all the amenities one could hope for. I loved the open space of the kitchen/family room. The game room was a plus as well, but I could only play the PacMan/Galaxia game for 5 minutes or I'd give myself a heart attack. ;) I even had a fun contest with my son and husband, shooting hoops. The host, Rebecca, was the best! She was so kind, accommodating, efficient, and responsive. She also had great tips on local hikes and a dog-friendly, free beach at Donner Lake. Also, I loved how she decorated the home - so tasteful and perfect for a mountain home. We loved being so close to hiking/biking trails by Euer Valley that started off by the horse stables which is about two miles from the house. We loved going down to Donner Lake which is a 10 minute drive from the home. Our dog loved fetching sticks in the lake and we enjoyed riding our bikes around the lake. It is a great mountain retreat and I forgot how beautiful Truckee is in October. We couldn't have asked for better weather (mid-70s), blue skies, and fresh mountain air without the summer crowds. We will definitely return and hope Rebecca's home is available for our next visit. Thank you, Rebecca!

This was a perfect location for us to meet my daughter who was hiking the PCT. The location is beautiful and convenient for all we wanted to do. The house had everything we needed, good beds, showers, washer and dryer. There was also the option at an additional cost to visit the pool and hot tubs, which we enjoyed. The kitchen lacked a few spices, cooking oils, cleaning supplies, otherwise it met our needs. My 3 yr. old grandson had fun with the downstairs games and his two uncles. A heads up, if you have active toddlers watch the windows in the master bedroom. When we arrived I opened the windows in the master bedroom and my grandson easily climbed up and when I came back into the room he was leaning back on the screen. Never even crossed my mind he would do this. It would have been quite a fall. We stayed at a busy time of year and this home was very peaceful. I love Truckee and hope to visit again.
