Il Podestà

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and in Laterina. All is beautiful: the apartment, the landscape, the village, the people - and of course Rita and Riccardo are very hospitable. Despite the hot summer of August 2026 the apartment remained pleasantly cool.

Situato nella piazzetta principale del borgo l'appartamento sito al secondo piano di un palazzo d'epoca ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative grazie anche alla premura dei proprietari pronti ad intervenire in caso di necessità. Il check-in è stato semplice e in autonomia con informazioni fornite dettagliate; molto bello a spazioso il soggiorno con la cucina che non abbiamo avuto necessità di utilizzare.

Si nota la mancanza di un climatizzatore d'aria, probabilmente non istallabile a causa di vincoli sul decoro architettonico della facciata, siamo comunque riusciti a dormire grazie alla presenza di ventilatori e zanzariere alle finestre

The apartment is highly authentic, located in a historic building tied to Michelangelo’s family, yet perfectly combines old-world charm with modern comfort, great cleanliness, and comfy beds. Having the parking space right under the windows was a huge plus for our road trip. Special thanks to the wonderful hosts! They welcomed us like family. The delicious, home-cooked dinner prepared by the host's wife and brought straight to our apartment was fantastic and very reasonably priced.
